    You ain’t been a poor man eating like a king til you make a meatloaf patty melt with a leftover slice of meatloaf and a thick slice of caramelized vidalia onion

  2. How you gonna do all that, then just squirt regular ol' ketchup on top? You gotta make the sauce and brush it on in layers every 10 minutes to build a bark!

  3. I just made some Meatloaf with a mix of ground chicken and chorizo, instead of crackers I used tortilla chips and shredded Mexican cheese mixed in, and of course spicy Dan O's!

This meatloaf was really delicious, but we used much less seasoning than it called for because there is a surprisingly high amount of sodium for it to be marketed as “low sodium.” 50mg per 1/4 tsp adds up to be a LOT if you’re using half the jar. 4,100mg sodium in half the jar just from doing the math from the nutrition label, and that’s not including how much sodium is in all the ritz crackers! I found a tablespoon of seasoning was plenty and we used lower sodium ritz for ours. Next time I will probably use oatmeal as a binder to add a healthier grain.
