Sarah Carey is the editor of Everyday Food magazine and her job is to come up with the best ways to make fast, delicious food at home. But she’s also a mom to two hungry kids, so the question “What’s for dinner?” is never far from her mind — or theirs, it seems! Her days can get crazy busy (whose don’t?), so these videos are all about her favorite fast, fresh meals — and the tricks she uses to make it all SO much easier.

  1. Well I was a fan until I found out you’re not washing parsley. That’s exactly what killed the dinosaurs. True story. Many people are saying it!

  2. Sarah, I love you, but if you fed me unwashed parsley, I’d be very mad at you. My friend got really sick from unwashed cilantro.

  3. Love this. I thought I was the only one who thought there was grit in parsley…I've always wondered about the cleaning of parsley and never heard it addressed until now. My own improvisation is to roughly rinse the bunch, then chop the parsley, then rinse through a strainer, and let it pretty much air dry. Then I refrigerate it for use during the week.

  4. I just made this today-YUMMMM. But I made a big mistake because there's 2 of us at home and I cooked a whole bag of pasta :-/ I think I'm going to invite our neighbours…. lol

  5. Made this for a family luncheon today and it was a huge success!!! Thank you Sarah for this great recipe.

  6. I made it today for a Memorial Day picnic and it was a big hit. I also added some roasted red peppers, which I thought went well. (The pop of red was great, too.) Thanks Sarah! Will def make again!
