This is probably the moistest pound cake I have ever had in my life. Seriously y’all, you’ve got to try this! It’s just bursting with citrus flavor, and it’s so easy. Follow my step-by-step video to see how it’s done.

Start by creaming the butter and cream cheese. Slowly add in the sugar (and there’s lots of it, y’all!). Once it’s nice and creamy, slowly add in the eggs (one at a time, be patient!), flour, pudding mix, vanilla, lemon juice and lemon zest. Pour the batter in a buttered and floured bundt pan and bake. Once the cake is completely cooled, dig in! This pound cake is so darn GOOD, fam! You’ll never buy store-bought pound cake again.

  2. Was so excited about the cake! Tried the recipe and ended up with inside being very squishy and jelly bean material on the inside. 😢
    The part that was a good texture tasted great, but the squishy part tasted very doughy. What could have done wrong? 😢

  3. I followed the recipe exactly 325 oven temperature One hour and 25 minutes cooking time. my cake came out gummy I’m not sure what happened, and I followed every step as I was preparing I had the video going and followed every step I’m not sure what happen. you can please let me some advice.

Hey, Rosie, I've made this cake for several years, and I want you to know I've put blueberries in it, and I'm making it again tonight, and I'm going to add some lemon cream, cheese frosting, it should be really good, I just want to say again, thank you so much for this recipe, my family absolutely loves this cake. It's kind of hard for me to make now because I'm in a wheelchair, but I'm still going to make it hopefully soon I will get the kitchen, I need I can't thank you enough for this cake recipe and for your southern green beans, my family loves those too, and now I will put a nice big ham in it or ham hocks, which is even better.
