Here is a fabulous salad and dressing! This dressing is versatile! You can use it for salads, veggies & as a marinade for fish, chicken & pork!

Poppy Seed Dressing

1 C white vinegar
1 C oil
2/3 C sugar
3 tsp poppy seeds
3 tsp sesame seeds
2 tbs diced onion
2 tsp paprika
2-3 tsp Worcestershire Sauce or steak sauce

Mix all well together either by hand with a whisk, or in a blender.
Jar and store in the fridge for up to a couple of months!

  1. It is so hot here in NC, too I was sitting in the shade this morning at the barn and sweat just dripping down my back….yuck. I'm eating a cold pasta salad right now! That dressing and salad you made looks delicious!!!

  3. hi Helga it was a hair cooler on long island but crazy humid I hate this weather also! I thought that would be harder to make then it was…. it all looks good! hey is root beer or coke good to marinate meat with?? dave
