Crunchy and crispy pork belly is tricky to achieve. By testing 4 different ways I finally unlocked the secret of making the perfect pork belly. Poring hot oil, using a dehydrator and making the Chinese version of pork belly are one of the ways I tested on this video. Now you can achieve the same success at home by following your preferred crunchiness.

you prob taste the vinegar bc you soaked it. I believe you are just suppose to brush it on to help it crackle. The smell/taste should have dissipated when you let it air out overnight.
Guga you have not had crunchy pork belly skin unless you have tried the Filipino version in Cebu! I highly recommend you head over there and have Lechon Baboy!!! You'll thank me later 😉
