I’ll show you how to prepare a whole roasted Branzino in the Ooni Pro oven. In this video, I’m working with Branzino, but you could use other types of fish as well. Red Snapper, Rockfish, Mackerel would make great substitutions. Roasting a whole fish is definitely the way to go. The skin, bones, and aromatics provide wonderful flavor and the meat stays juicier and moister than roasting fillets.

  2. Could you have just cook the fish in the cast iron pan instead of putting it in a roasting pan

  3. Love this, have just bought me an Ooni and finding non-pizza inspiration! Also great camera angles – do you have multiple cameras or move the camera around alot?

  4. You do what I do, anytime, I swear never fails, any time I make fish no matter what type or kind, I always forget to brush it with Olive Oil. Lol

  5. A person who gets grossed out of a whole fish needs to be exiled and put in an island full or snooty pretentious rich folks. Smh

  6. Branzino is the best, very tasty. Could you pull this off in a Koda 16? Or do you need to be able to close a door?

  7. The whole fish is my favorite, but my best friend can't get over the head. Seriously, nothing says get ready for an excellent fish dinner like a FISH!

  8. No, whole fish does not gross me out at all.. I’m from Malaysia, and almost all of our fish delicacy is cooked with the whole fish.. So to me, a meal with the whole fish is much preferred… And looked much more appetizing to me…

  9. Cooked Whole fish is always better in my opinion. But flipping the fish over is a no no to some people, especially fishermen.

  10. Great video, looks amazing. If a whole fish grosses anyone out they my won't to stick to canned food. πŸ™‚

  11. This video is great. Thank you. Whole fish does not gross me out. I will roast it as you did, though I’ll try broiling it. I enjoy the process of roasting and doing the dish in my old iron skillet. I love experimenting/experiencing.
