This week Lokmane shows us how to make chicken liver! Don’t worry if you’re apprehensive about eating liver because this recipe is so flavorful and full of chopped onions and garlic that any meat eater would approve! Liver is full of vitamins, nutrients and for those of you dealing with Ulcerative Colitis and are anemic liver is packed with IRON!

Our philosophy is to eat efficiently, both for your body and for the environment. Eating all parts of an animal and decreasing byproduct waste is a great way to soften your environmental impact (while giving your body nutritious fuel!).

Pair your liver with riced cauliflower (recipe coming soon!), a fried egg or an almond flour crepe (recipe linked below) for you grain free folks! Also, feel free to shake up the spices and use what you have. The trick to this recipe is taking the time to remove the fatty/unusable parts and using grated & chopped onion so add or remove any spice you’d like!
