Today I made all of the types of hot chocolate known to man. Or at least it felt like that. Really we made hot chocolate 4 different ways. Those ways being instant hot chocolate, single serving easy hot chocolate, Italian hot chocolate, and a spicy boi Mexican hot chocolate. So as it just begins to get chilly, let’s get this hot chocolate party started.

  1. The french style au bain-marie with dark chocolate, milk and some white sugar is my personal favourite.
Apparently drinking cacao was done first in Jamaica and later an anglo-irish man added milk to it.

  2. One thing that can make even powdered chocolate drinks taste better is to use cream instead of milk. Or half milk, half cream. Of course if you were using real melted chocolate as well….heavenly. 💞💞

  3. The powder is good to use with coffee. Lots of places I’ve worked, their terrible coffee is made somewhat drinkable by adding a Swiss Miss packet.

  4. Me feeling like I can make ever single racking recipient that includes chocolate because I got some from the local Aldi

  5. Im pretty sure it's only in America. That they use hot water to make their hot chocolate. Because here in australia we use Cadbury drinking chocolate with hot milk. Or milk chocolate bars

  6. Ok, i am from Mexico and I want to clarify that just because we love chili we are not going to add spice to everything. Your Mexican recipe was fine until you added chili, that's not how we do it here. Although it looks delicious ❤

  7. Personally, I like making hot cocoa with coconut milk. Its not just because I have a dairy sensitivity. Its really good!

  8. Blergh Italien hot chocolate looks so good and tastes so disappointing. The cornflour just sucks the flavour out of the chocolate. What you want is French hot chocolate: similar thickness but achieved through melted chocolate! Probably deadly if you drank it every day, but as an occasional treat: heavenly.
