  1. This is a really easy to follow video, thank you, I have been online and ordered myself 10 bars of the olive oil soap, can't wait to make my own, thank you so much for taking the time to do this video, I have shared it on my pinterest page too 🙂

  2. I'm sure you heard this a million times it's good to see a guy doing this for family.. nicely done

  3. thanks for the video very clear instructions. I think I'm going to try it next weekend. Will it keep a month or two before going bad? I'm deciding on the batch side.

  4. Hi, (I am really happy to find this I have tones of this soap from my mother ) when can we add a spoon of alcohol , so to avoid microbia growth?

  5. Hi Steven, thank you so much for this tutorial!!! Thanks to you, this is the only soap I use for my family and we all absolutely love it. Not only is this the best soap with the least amount of ingredients but the liquid soap last us a long, long time through your method. Once again many thanks, stay blessed and keep posting outstanding video's. Very best wishes from London.

  6. Can I skip adding more water at the end if I like my soap nice and thick? Will it be ok to use like that, or will the strong concentration be bad for the skin? Also, can I skip adding any extracts? I want it to stay unscented.

  7. What a great video! I am ordering some of this soap tonight. I was concerned because the soap is too cheap in price? Every other pure olive oil bar is like $9. So is the quality legit? Either way can’t wait to try this
Also does this liquid version have any suds

  8. Forgive my confusion, but how much soap do you use per 3 cups? You say the recipe is for 4 oz. of soap numerous times, but you also say that the bar you use is a 125g bar, so you cut it in half. 125 grams equals 4.4 oz. of soap, so if you cut it in half, then you are actually using 2.2 oz. of soap per 3 cups. So I'm confused if you should be using 2 oz. or 4 oz. of soap per 3 cups?

  9. Can this be used as a shampoo? I have a coconut allergy and it is next to impossible to find a shampoo without it. Thank you.

  10. My mum made her own liquid soap when I was a kid, she would always throw the last little bit of the bar soap in a container under the sink until we had enough then turn that into the liquid

  11. So glad I found this video. I have been using this brand of bar soap for years as all other soaps peel all the skin off my hands. I’m so glad to be able to make it into a liquid soap. I will be making it tomorrow as I have several bars of this soap in my home. Thank you so much!

  12. Is there any particular reason why you used a peeler instead of something like a cheese grater? Just curious as I was peeling to make my own batch.

  13. After watching a bunch of videos for making olive oil soap that use sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, take hours of stirring to make and wearing protective gloves and don't mention but I hope, eye protection, plus curing time if you're not sure you cooked it enough, your hack is fantastic, easy and quick. Congratulations, this is genius! I can't wait to make my own first batch!
