Simple orange sorbet recipe without using ice cream machine, vitamix, or blender. Very easy to do with only a whisk.

I’m a beginner, can barely cook an egg without burning it. If you’re also an amateur, try watch me cook so you know what to NOT do. A completely honest attempt at cooking so you (presumably another amateur like me) can learn from my mistakes.

Fun fact: I have never cook Orange Sorbet in my life

I’m not going to lie, this sorbet tastes sour. It’s definitely because I didn’t put enough sugar in it. Even so, it’s still delicious. Most internet recipes requires you to use ice cream machine, but it’s not really necessary. I tried using hand mixer and whisk; and the result is still good and presentable.

You should give it a try. It’s very easy recipe to do. You only need:
– 500g orange (whatever kind you can grab)
– sugar (just add more until it’s not sour)

Mix orange juice until the sugar has melted. Freeze it for 1 hour and crush all the big ice chunks with a whisk until relatively smooth. Freeze it again for 30 minutes and then crush the ice again using a whisk. Do this about 3-4 times and leave it in the freezer overnight.
