In the last few years, there has been a lot of talk about rosemary for hair growth. When an herb gets a lot of attention, you often see some people show up who just want to sell you something. As a result, they may exaggerate or misrepresent the benefits of that herb. In an environment like that, rosemary for hair growth might, understandably, sound too good to be true and leave you asking yourself, what are the facts?

Luckily, when it comes to knowing the facts about rosemary for hair growth, we can pull from a lot of reputable sources. And that’s what I’m sharing in this episode, along with two DIY rosemary recipes for hair growth including an infused rosemary oil recipe plus a rosemary water recipe for hair growth.

After listening in, you’ll know:

► What a randomized, double-blind human clinical trial demonstrated about rosemary for hair growth

► What to beware of when it comes to products for hair loss

  1. Lol facts are my husband was bald until we started rubbing his head with Rosemary oil 3 years later he has a full head of hair again.❤

  2. I love this channel , thank you everyone. The flowers are ……Beautiful ! My hair is thinning and I am excited to try these recipes

  3. I am 66 and my hair is white. I want to try rosemary but someone told me it would change the color. I don’t want it to change my hair color. Would it leave my hair white?

  4. Your dahlias are gorgeous!! Thank you for another great episode, I always look forward to hearing what you have to say. I don't use my herbs as much as I could, but very much appreciate them for their decorative value, as a ground cover, and as a source of food for pollinators ( there are always so many different pollinators on my mountain mint and garlic chive flowers!). There is nothing like smelling lavender, sage, or Sweet Annie while harvesting or weeding in the gardens. In my opinion, herbs are just about the perfect garden companions and I love to watch you celebrate them. 😊

  5. This comment isn’t hair related, although I plan on trying Rosemary for hair growth, however I’m drinking Rosemary tea these days and my memory is much improved.

  6. Rosemary is definitely one of my personal favorites. Once we went hiking in the Olympic National Forest, with fresh rosemary sprigs stuck to our hats. We looked … well, different from the other people there, however, we were the only ones not bothered by those relentless mosquitoes. I have my big shrub right in front of my entrance, and I always talk to her whenever I walk by. Rosemary is simply divine.

  7. Thank you for this timely advice Rosalee, I will be giving the Rosemary oil a try. Your Dahlia’s are beautiful, thank you for “showing them off”. 🥰

  8. Good morning Rosalee🍃
Thank so much for adding your thoughts on animal testing! I agree! Thank you for sharing these wonderful recipes 🍁

  9. Hi Rosalee, I was all ready to get excited about making rosemary water and then you mentioned it darkens light hair. Can you please tell me what it would do to silver gray? Sometimes we seniors get left out … I love herbs and at 75 still look forward to incorporating them in my life as I age and turn to herbs over allopathic meds … but now I don't know …. will rosemary darken silver gray hair? Help! Thank you!

  10. I’ve been using a Rosemary Apple cider vinegar rinse on my hair for awhile now and it is quite long! I don’t know if it would grow this long without Rosemary!

  11. Not to be that person, but in vitro testing is also subjecting a living thing to tests. If it wasn't a living thing, we wouldn't test on it. Why, oh why, do so many people value the lives of animals over humans??
I'm not saying we should be torturing animals. Just…sigh…

  12. I use rosemary infusion to ease neck cramps. Looking forward to try it for hair growth. I infuse it into witch hazel.
