You only need 3 ingredients for homemade jam (no pectin!). Fruit, sugar, and lemon juice (or really any other acid). fab video. i just learned this summer how easy it is to make jam. your ratios are spot on and yeah the macerating step is critical.
I cook mine in the microwave uncovered for 30-40 minutes on half power ( on a 1000W microwave) and it works perfectly well

Is there a certain way to store them in the jars? Like do they have to be canned? Do the jars needs to be totally sterilized? Or can I just store the jam in a clean jar and keep in the fridge?
