  1. Hello Sis. Becky. This looks delicious! I watch your videos all the time. I love your channel. Thank you for sharing your gift. I do have a question for you about Leviticus 11:7 . I’m just curious what your thoughts and opinions are. Being a Christian this has been difficult for me . Thank you have a blessed day

  2. Coat the Bacon in flour then place on a baking rake with a drip pan underneath, then cook in the oven at 400F until golden brown. It's the only way I cook bacon anymore. The flour prevents the splattering and given it a crispy exterior. Mmmm.

  3. She reminds me of women in the 1950s who liked being home cooking, taking care of the children and a mother who was always there for the family and yes church on Sundays was the norm in those days and it worked..the nuclear family…until the radicals from women’s groups and politicians of the sixties destroyed motherhood and family…I was asked by younger people today how was life back in those years when I tell them..they replied..wow! Well what happened to that country…….

  4. They look amazing❤ I love them in the fall/winter time with a slice of cornbread 😋

  5. You are such a God loving lady🙏. I wish I lived close to you so I could talk about our almighty God. Sometimes you just need someone to talk with. God bless ya my friend🙏

  6. I've never made cowboy beans, but I do make a similar mixture w/ 4-5 types of beans. I especially like butter beans in it, and I always add a bit of molasses. Great way to use up leftover ham too.

  7. I just saw where you have lost your husband. I am so so sorry. I do not know how people bear that kind of loss. I am sure your faith has helped you a great deal as well as your family.

  8. I'm an old atheist Englishman, but I love this woman. Southern working class American folk seem like soul cousins to Northern working class English folk. God Bless x

  9. I make mine the same only I use Dale's sauce instead of Worsteshire and never have used the vinegar but will try it.

  12. My family were pioneer settlers in Texas from Virgina. AlwYs beans and cornbread. Only two pieces of bacon at a time for health. But we do dip biscuit dough in bacon grease, then bake.

  13. Boy Howdy. That sure does look yummy. My Father made a dish very close to this recipe. It was so good that no matter how much was taken to any family event.. it was always swooped in on and everyone was always asking him to write down the recipe. But the funny thing was he didn't go by a written recipe, He just cooked it up and everyone simply loved it. 😊

  14. I haven't really liked other barbecue beans since I was a kid. I used to love them as a kid, and now they're too sweet for me. I can't wait to try yours with the ground beef. This sounds like a wonderful recipe. I love anything that says Cowboy cooking or cowboy beans. You first cooked your cowboy beans and a skillet. All of a sudden they were in a dutch oven. Did you have to switch pans? I'm confused about that.
