From here on out, I will bake my potatoes in the air fryer. The potato skin was so crispy and they were so good. On a plus side, it didn’t heat up my house by having my oven on for an hour while they baked in the there. The potato skins were great and it didn’t take them long to heat the potato skins up and to melt the cheese.

I washed and dried my potatoes, then covered them with a little oil, and sprinkled over some kosher salt. I baked mine in my air fryer for about forty minutes at 400 degrees F. You might want to turn your potatoes over half way through the cooking in case the potatoes skins get to browned on one side.

  2. Excellent video, props for editing the long spots out that some people just drone on. Looked great.

  3. Your method is tried and true. I’ve never made them before and first try, thanks to your video, they were an instant hit. Unfortunately word’s getting around now 😂😂 Thanks for posting!!

  4. Looks like you have The Power XL air fryer. I will definitely try your recipe for potato skins. I did TG Fridays' potato skins in the air fryer and they turned out great. I pre heated the air fryer for 3 minutes and then baked them for 15 minutes moving them around at the 10 minutes. I checked them with a thermometer when they were finished, and they were at 140 degrees. Had my wife try them out and we enjoyed them together.

  5. I ain’t bought the frozen TGI Friday’s potato skins Since I started making them like this last year after I saw your video. These are way better, easy to make, & closer to the ones that I used get at Bennigan’s when was a young one. I top mine with cheddar and bacon, but have also topped them with cheddar and frozen broccoli florets as well as chili & cheese. I’m fixin to continue making them like this in my Cosori 5.8qt air fryer. Thank you for this recipe
