  1. LMFAO @ "..and then you roll it up and smoke it.. NO! " 🤣 I like the simplicity of this recipe. Very easy to follow.

  2. Hello from Germany. Can you please show traditional dishes for Christmas? I come from Germany (half Italian-half Croatian) and find it exciting what other countries traditionally cook for Christmas. Thank you so, so much for your wonderful videos and instructions, because: a child can do this and that`s absolutely true. ❤

  3. Growing up as a child, all we ever had was the canned stuff with the ridges in it. Later, we discovered the whole cranberry sauce (still in the can). This is a quantum leap from those days. We are invited to a friend's house for Thanksgiving and I will be making this to take. I hope it doesn't upstage the rest of the meal, for their sake. Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. This looks like the best cranberry sauce I have ever seen! Just seeing this and the Stuffin Muffins recipe, I am convinced that the best Thanksgiving meal around is at Chef Jean-Pierres's house!

  5. Interesting take with the figs. I just bought all the ingredients to make your orange zest cranberry sauce. I now make that every year, just soooo much better than the canned stuff.

  6. With the exception of the figs, balsamic vinegar, and Grand Marnier, this isn't that different from how I do cranberry sauce. My version has lemon juice, cinnamon (sticks or ground, doesn't matter) and Granny Smith apple chunks in it. Sometimes, I use unsweetened cranberry juice, so I can skim off the excess liquid and serve it as a fall punch (warm cranberry juice with cinnamon in it says fall to me more than pumpkin spice anything).

  7. Man I’ve made your cranberry sauce two years now. My father hates it. Why? Because it didn’t come from a can. He grew up with canned cranberries and that’s all he wants.

Sadly no one else in my family wants or eats cranberries.

  8. LOL! Despite the fact that I do make my own cranberry relish, I must defend the American tradition of sauce from a can replete with the can's ridges showing right there on the dinner table. It's true. For some reason–in my family too–people find comfort in that. Don't ask. There isn't a good answer. We do both, and sometimes more.

  9. This just inspired me to do my own sauce this year with stuff I already have in the house – thanks chef!❤🎉🎉🎉😊

  10. Chef, I can't wait to try this version of your Cranberry Sauce. The addition of Chambord sounds delicious. Did you get an early X-Mas present, I don't remember seeing that chef knife before.

  11. its funny seeing a man with a French name, French accent, Italian hand gestures yet there is a sign behind him says God Bless America!!! It seems he has some identity issues! Make up your mind Signore Jean-Pierre YeeHaw 🤣🤣🤣

edit: dont get me wrong JP, I love you, I love your work, your body language, your great recipes. I wish I had a JP at home 🥰

  12. There's something magical about your food. I appreciate your efforts; I was wondering if you could share a video of you cooking with KHAL viewers

    🥰😘🤩

  13. If anyone is feeling a little bit down, just watch Chef Jean Pierre, his good humour and wonderful cooking techniques can cue any depression.

  14. Never did any dish with figs before. I guess now I have something to try. Thanks Chef JP. Cheers.

  15. Looks amazing. I love figs so I’ll try it this year. I bought some fig balsamic for one of your wine reduction recipes earlier too.
