  1. Chinese-style Stir-fry Bean Sprout Recipe!

    INGREDIENTS

    400 grams of bean sprouts

    2 cloves of garlic, minced

    2 tsp of ginger, minced

    A small red chili, julienned

    60g / 2oz of garlic sprout, cut into 2 inches long stalks

    2 tbsp of cooking oil

    1 tbsp of soy sauce

    1 tbsp of oyster sauce 

    1 tsp of dark soy sauce

    1/2 tsp of five-spice powder 

    1/2 tsp of cornstarch

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Rinse the bean sprouts and drain thoroughly. Recommend using a salad spinner because excess water will lower the wok's temperature, making the bean sprouts soft and soggy. 

    Combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, five-spice powder, and cornstarch in a bowl and mix well.  

    Turn the heat to maximum. Add oil, garlic, ginger, and red chili. Stir for 10 seconds. 

    Add bean sprouts and garlic chives. Stir for a couple of minutes.

    Add the sauce and mix well.

  2. Why would you call this 'Asian' though, this is a Chinese preparation. No need to generalize.

  3. Reminds me of how they prepare a stir fry w the leftover duck from a Peking duck order at a fav restaurant! Yum!

    5.stir for 10seconds and add the bean sprouts&garlic chives
    6.stir for a couple of minutes and add the sauce mix!fresh crunchy beansprouts is,ready!👌🌱🌱

    I enjoy that.
    I generally Julian some young sliced ginger and added to the dish at the restaurant.

  6. This is perfect for me because I adore bean sprouts. I hate that they go bad so quickly no matter how clean and dry I store them, but that doesn’t prevent me from buying them all the time.

  7. I’m making this meal tonight for my late nite snack. I have everything but five spice so I’m going to use fried rice seasoning. 😋

  8. If you were to use this in a meal prep, how long would they stay crunchy before they started to wilt?
