Boil Cabbage Leaves:

๐Ÿฒ Place a large pot of water on the stove. While the water is boiling, cut out the hard inside of the cabbage.

๐ŸŒŠ Dip the cabbage in boiling water and simmer on low heat for five minutes. Flip it over to the other side and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Place the head of cabbage on a plate and let it cool. Separate the cabbage into individual leaves, cutting off the thick parts at the base.

Prepare the Filling and Form the Cabbage Rolls:

๐Ÿš Wash the rice and boil until half cooked. Alternatively, pour boiling water over it and let it sit for 10 minutes.

๐Ÿฅฉ Cut the pork and veal into pieces, then pass through a meat grinder. Combine minced meat with boiled rice.

๐Ÿฅ• Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Sautรฉ the vegetables in a pan for 5-7 minutes until soft. Add half of the vegetable dressing to the pork and rice. Season with salt and pepper. Mix the stuffing for cabbage rolls thoroughly.

๐Ÿ… Add tomatoes to the remaining frying of onions and carrots, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.

๐Ÿฒ Place a small amount of filling on the prepared cabbage leaves, closer to the base. Wrap the cabbage rolls and hide the edges inside.

Stew Cabbage Rolls:

๐Ÿฒ Place cabbage rolls in a large saucepan or baking pan with a thick bottom. Add a layer of vegetable dressing on top.

๐Ÿ… Dilute tomato paste in 0.5 liters of hot water and add sour cream. Season with salt. Pour the sauce over cabbage rolls. The liquid should almost completely cover the dish, leaving a 3-4 cm gap from the top.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Place the cabbage rolls in a preheated oven and simmer for an hour at 180ยฐC.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Place on a plate, pour over sour cream, and serve.
