250 grams chicken breast
1 tbsp soy sauce
5 grams salt
2 grams black pepper
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 piece medium egg

Sauce

100 grams orange juice
40 50 grams lemon juice
100 grams sugar
10 grams custard powder

Oil for frying
Lemon slice for garnished

  1. omg this is it! i've been looking for this kind of recipe! my mum tried making lemon chicken a lot of time but it just never tastes the same as the one we ate, and most recipes on yt uses stock but i ddnt tase even a little bit of stock with the one we ate. omg have to try this

    can i opt for conrstarch instead to thicken the sauce?

  6. Im a 40 years old Malaysian and lemon chicken was a treat when my family or relatives took us to posh chinese restaurants. I would wait for the lemon chicken to arrive, sometimes it came after all the dishes, sometimes it was the first dish served. The anticipation of waiting for one dish out of all other dishes… ahhhhhhhh… good old days.
