  1. Vaughn, you are a treasure and deserve your own YT channel with Nanna!!! (And maybe even your kitty–even though I am an avowed dog person!) BTW I discovered a long time ago that my very favorite autumnal spice blend was cinnamon (I prefer Chinese cinnamon), ginger, and allspice! Incidentally, I'd love to see more folks trying out ground galangal in their baked goods as a cinnamon or ginger alternative!

  2. Does this presenter Vaughn have his own youtube/instagram etc profile?
    I am asking for a friend…

  3. Did anyone else think their cat meow-ed when his cat meowed and try to meow back? I had to replay it to understand why my cat was looking at me weirdly.

  4. LOVE. However, this is not a recipe video, this is a youtuber who just so happens to be making pumpkin bread. Kinda hard to follow the actual recipe parts so I can replicate in real life. I had to go to the article to see the recipe and abandon the video to actually make this. I really appreciated the brown butter part and taking us through that journey.

  5. NYT Cooking, BA shut down, Great Big Story closed, please hold out and keep making videos please please please. I don't want to lose another of my loves.

  6. OMG I used your brown butter technique for the first time last night and poured it into some packaged blueberry muffin mix. SWEET BABY JESUS they were delicious!

  7. Would these cupcake-ify well? Because I want to make them with maple buttercream and candied pepitas.

  8. A. ADORABLE, B. I WANT YOUR GLASSES, C. THANK YOU FOR PUTTING AN APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF BUTTER ON THE BREAD. Seriously, where did you get those glasses?

  9. Lame that you make this video but the only way to get the recipe is to pay for a subscription to the NY Times.

  10. I have a strong hunch this could work with some Newfoundland Screech in place of the bourbon. Plus I don't have any bourbon on hand at the moment. Hello from Canada!

  11. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DONT KNOW ,THE LINK TO THE RECIPE IS THE FIRST LINK IN THE DESCRIPTION LIST,THE ARROW POINTING DOWN ,UPPER R CORNER. WHEN YOU GO TO THE RECIPE YOU SEE THE FIRST PART DESCRIPTION THEN SCROLL WAY DOWN AND FULL RECIPE IS THERE! NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE TO ANYTHING TO GET RECIPE .SOME ONE IS MISINFORMED. JUST PUTTING IT OUT THERE.

  12. The best pumpkin loaf I've ever had is swirled with chocolate in the middle and eaten with an iced latte. Thats purely for me a nostalgic thing, and enjoyed best on a wooded mountain that smells of summer and oak leaves.
