The sauce became so creamy when it was all mixed together it's a little hard to put into words how good it really was. Thank you for so many good recipes!   3. One of the few times you actually embraced the American stereotype and used garlic. In my experience, Italians do use garlic. Sometimes. But if you want a garlic-centralized cuisine, you look at Greece or the Middle East. It’s like the directions to Jerusalem from the movie Kingdom Of Heaven. “Where do I find the garlic?” “Follow this road east until the people start speaking Italian. Then continue on until they speak something different.”

  4. I have cooked this today and the sauce was heavenly creamy and so delicate. It reminded me of the wonderful smells and flavours of sunny days when I was in Italy. The burrata I got here may not be the best, but at least I could find any burrata. Dear Vicenzo, my master teacher of quality cooking, thank You so much for all the recipes. Most of Your pasta recipes I have tried already over the past few months and they were all great. Next stop: Pasta alle vongole or scaloppini, though seafood ist really expensive here (1kg scaloppini: 60 €; shells for vongole: 30 €).

  7. "Burrata" is a bit difficult to come by here BUT I very often substitute home grown cherry tomatoes in other dishes. This one I will try once I source the burrata.

  12. Gave this a crack last night, mate. Was bloody delicious!! My little boy doesn't like tommos much, but he happily scarfed this one! I made a small alteration to it though… We grated 100gm or so of the pecorino and mixed that through the sauce prior to plating. Worked a treat. Hope it doesn't piss you off 😂🤣🤣😂 cheers mate.

I adore this combination and often prepare it, either with fresh cherry tomatoes or an already prepared cherry tomato sauce (only made with cherry tomatoes and salt) which I buy at a local Italian shop 🙂 It's perfect for a quick dinner, so delicious and comforting! Burrata is heaven on earth!

  15. I haven’t tried this Burrata, but my wife’s favorite pasta in the world now is my cherry tomato Pomodoro, learned straight from your channel Vincenzo. Only difference is I found I like the tomato flavors even more with the richness from a table spoonful of Tomato Paste. Growing up I always thought I liked thin pastas the most, but now my whole family is in love with thick square spaghetti. I even tried with angel hair one time, but my kids demanded we go back to “same pasta as Vincenzo.” 👏👏👏
