  1. Mouth watering goodness, with just the right amount of garlic!

I love garlic too! So spice it up my friend! 😃

    Have a good week Dave!

  2. You can still buy pot pies in the grocery store. Marie Callender's is my favorite because it's nice and buttery and it's a little bit larger than the standard pot pie.

  3. Hi Dave, since I have not made one of these in a very long time, this is a great dinner idea! I just put it into the oven and it already smells great😋and as for using garlic, take it from a garlic lover…you do not use too much garlic, you use just the right amount, the same way I do. Thanks for sharing this tasty dish.

  4. Dave my friend , great recipe, I agree with nearly every other post that no such thing as to much garlic , yes on us & the girls, I am going to add par boiled diced turnips to the pot pie , a couple of things here in my area , we do not buy stew beef as it is different cuts of beef so you don't know what you are getting, I use diced chunks of chuck roast, also I left you one of those hillbilly words yesterday on that last video( chix thighs video ) after you said you like them.. I am going to have whole fat cottage cheese & garlic twist bread sticks for sides as we all like that, keep your stick on the ice pal

  5. Thank you Dave, i love pies and this one looks lovely. That's dinner sorted for tomorrow.
If you like garlic then carry on using as much as you like. I use garlic in all my recipes to enchance the flavours. love your recipes

  6. Dear Dave, Great dish. Love this with lamb, kidney and liver, some redwine deglaze the pan, Thema fill the dough. Absolutely amazing tasty. Like

  7. Dave, your beef pie looks delicious and I will definitely have to try it. I remember that back in the 70s I could buy Smedley’s Steak and Kidney pie with puffed pastry. It came in a round tin container and was absolutely delicious. I have searched high and low for this product (even going online), however not to be found. I would like to use your beef pie recipe as the basis for a steak and kidney pie and I am wondering how you would go about cooking this. I think beef or lamb kidneys would work, but how would you prepare the kidneys prior to adding to the pie?

  8. new wave dave – not enough garlic, garlic and onions is just like bacon after cooked – it shrivels up or gets smaller…

  9. Hi Dave. Hope all's well with you and Coco? I've made my own pies (and pastry) for years. Guaranteed a fully filled crust – some shop bought were more crust and air than filling.
Polo and myself shared something similar to this earlier today 😃

  10. To the person who said Dave uses too much garlic; have you ever heard of something called; “PERSONAL PREFERENCE”?? Get a life and stop Trolling.

  11. Hello my friend Dave. Wow, what a yummy pie with delicious filling. It looks so perfect. Thank you for sharing. Looks delicious. Enjoy your day and God bless.🙏😋💕🌏

  12. I haven't made pie for quite some time. Now this video has me thinking about making your version of the pie. I like to use meat and potatoes as fillings.
