This is my personal recipes for Dolmades. I know you will love them.
Here’s the recipe I developed.

2 cups of Broth of your choice plus 2 cups water

Instructions:

1. Soak and rinse the grape leaves in clean water.
2. Mix the ground beef, rice, eggs, spices, onion in a large bowl.
3. lay out grape leaves smooth side down and clip off the stem.
4. put 1 tablespoon of beef rice mixture on the leave and fold and roll it up.
5. Put broken leaves in the bottom of a large pot with a few dashes of olive oil.
6. layer the stuffed grape leaves in the pot until all the stuffing is used.
7. drizzle the lemon juice and add more olive oil and then sprinkle Greek seasoning to taste.
8. add the hot broth and the warm water to cover the grape leaves.
9. Put a small plate upside down on the grape leaves to hold them down.
10. Cook at medium until to see bubbles and then medium low for about 60-90 minutes.
11. Add more water if needed.
12. Let cool for best results.
13. Eat them all in one sitting 🙂

  1. I'm a Slavic person, with a background that includes Polish and Ukrainan. We have cabbage rolls, which is a similar process. Those dolmades look great. Cheers, Sapo and God Bless! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
