I recently tried a sourdough discard recipe (picture of the recipe posted) for the first time and really enjoyed the results for how easy it was. Anyone have any recommendations for modifications to try?

Everything bagel seasoning is yummy. I like to add whole wheat flour, too. Trade olive oil for the butter. So many options!

I add a dark rye and sprinkle with a BBQ rub that has a little sugar in it. That hint of sweetness goes great with the tang of the sourdough.

So weird. I literally just tried this recipe. The crackers are cooling!

I love doing a seed mix! My current favourite combo is sesame and pumpkin seeds. I also add nutritional yeast or a sprinkle of parmesan!

I love **sesame seeds**, and if you have a trader Joe’s nearby basically all their spice blends are killer. Use liberally! Shout out to **seasoning in a pickle**, **everything but the bagel**, **green goddess, cheese**, and **ranch**.

Olive oil and garlic is one of my go-to’s for discard crackers, others are cracked pepper, any kind of cheese, or everything bagel seasoning. But honestly I have yet to find anything that doesn’t work so I don’t think you can really go wrong.
