HOW TO MAKE PERFECT BLUEBERRY JAM

This blueberry jam recipe is best for breads, waffles, pancakes and can also be a blueberry cheesecake topping.

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups fresh blueberries
3 cups granulated sugar(may reduce to 2 cups depends on your sweetness preference)
2 tbsp. lemon juice

PROCEDURE:
1.Wash berries properly and drain water.
2.Use a sauce pan or a deep pan, set stove to medium heat, combine all 3 ingredients.
3.Bring to a simmer, stir and then bring heat to med-low.
4.Continue stirring to avoid overflowing of foams and avoid burning the jam.
5.Use a potato masher to break the fruit..or just skip this procedure if you want your jam to have more texture.
6.Continue stirring, after 20 mins.usually the foams disappear..continue stirring until the jam thickens.
7.After 30-35 mins. the jam is fully cooked, Always use sterilized jars to store jams and refrigerate.
