We asked our papahs to try Chipotle – a popular fast-casual Mexican style restaurant known for customizable burritos, bowls, and tacos with fresh ingredients. The dads rank them not only on how tasty they are but how close they are to their authentic counter parts. How do you think they’ll rank?

  1. you should tell them the price of each item and then ask if they would order it for that price tag.

  2. Something about chipotle’s tacos arent great. It has something to do with taco tortilla. It taste dull that makes the filling inside not appetizing

  3. I'd love to travel South and try Mexican food. Being from ND, I highly doubt our "traditional" Mexican food is traditional at all. Still tasty though.

  4. I like that for all of them they are like "here is the score, AND I would eat that" no matter what the score was.

  5. It’s hilarious seeing people lose their shit over a place, that doesn’t claim to be authentic, for not being authentic. 😂😂😂

  6. My pops str8 from the sierra de Mexico he said chipotle has a good concept just needs a good salsa

  7. The reviews are good but please can the guy in the blue shirt speak Mexican. We know he can speak English and its spoiling the authenticity of the video.

  8. I'm not a Mexican Dad, and never had stepped in or ordered from Chipotle before, but what a disappointment the one recently opened up near me. Barely have much of a selection on the overhead menu, and what I went for, the steak bowl constantly advertised on TV, is only temporary. Any Mexican food truck could do much better food including variety, and without all of the economical overhead that paying. There's no salads on the menu either. On top super close to an authentic Mexican family owned restaurant and separate breakfast cafe, great place for a good decent Sunday brunch, because close the larger restaurant, so I don't think that Chipotle is going to last long here. What I ordered $16, while at their breakfast cafe brunch, a "El Padron" that includes a thinner entire sirloin steak, two eggs, beans, rice and salad, and a couple of similar to chilaquiles with green salsa and two tomatillos, both fresh corn masa based items $22. Incomparable quality and price. On top the owners, the wife, an attractive classy great floor hostess public relations overseer. He's usually in the kitchens with assistant cooks. Very nice middle class family that decided to open their business here. She's on it as a businesswoman, and that's why I told her could even have a few food trucks in the area. They started in the today a breakfast cafe, as a restaurant. Great example of Mexican immigration, because they're not afraid of even going to Madrid Spain, checking it out, and maybe starting another business there. In the big restaurant, the other Mexican employees, just remind me of my experience with Mexicans many years ago, including some cool club music. The where see no difference between middle classes. Their 5 de Mayo celebration in the restaurant must be a big deal around here by now. A major hangover the next day party, because of course have bars in both businesses. Fully stocked bars. That's where the real money to earn is. The amount of alcohol sold. Definitely created the atmosphere, to just go drink and eat, plus TV sports bar style. Can even crash the night at one of the new nearby inexpensive hotels, besides the old motel nearby that's been completely renovated. That's literally walking distance from them. Better than DUI. They've just very much figured it out, because have weekly specials and daily specials, and probably have a lot of regulars that live nearby, in the nearby condominium communities, especially the older ones and recent new one. Have alot of very close walking distance possibilities of clients, residential and business, besides the delivery services that use. All why Chipotle isn't going to last long. They've created something that EVERYONE would want, because there's NOTHING else like them in this area of the small city, and there's nothing else but comfortable middle class families and people here. Very safe.
