Hey y’all! If you need a quick and easy broccoli cheese soup to whip up while you’re on a decorating break, look no further! This recipe is so dang easy and super fast to throw together. Serve it in a bread bowl to be even more extra lol

BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP:
1 onion, diced
2-3 cups broccoli florets, chopped small
1 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup milk
1/4 cup flour
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder to taste (or whatever seasonings you want)

Chop your veggies. Add the butter to your pot and melt. Saute veggies for about 5 minutes. Add in the broth, cream and milk. Add flour. Stir well and bring to a boil. Add seasonings. Turn heat to a low/med and simmer, stirring frequently, for about 10-15 minutes. Stir in the cheese and stir until melted. Serve in a bread bowl if you’re feeling fancy!
