  1. How do you get your vanilla to even smell like vanilla? When I tried making vanilla, I first tried eight beans and scored them and put Into a pint and added good vodka. Yuck smelled like vodka. So I tried again. This time I filled the jars with vanilla beans ( scored and cut) and did one with vodka and one with brandy. Still the same strong alcohol smell. So they sit on my shelf unused.

  2. Thank you for this video! I've been wanting to make my own vanilla and elderberry syrup, but just haven't. I ordered the beans and berries so it will be happening. Also, I couldn't find the pumpkin spice so this is on the list as well. I'm looking forward to upcoming projects. Thanks so much again!!

  3. Please tell me how you use the yarrow infusion. I have a ton of yarrow and no clue how to use it. Every one tells me what I can do with it ie: oil infusion but that doesn't tell me how to use the oil or what situations I can use it for. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me on this matter. ❤

  4. Hey there! Really enjoy your content, thanks for sharing. I’ve been trying to shape your storefront, but the link doesn’t seem to be working for me. Wanted to let you know in case it’s not just me having internet troubles 😅

  5. Chai spice is something I have never tasted. You said your kids like chai spice in warm milk, what does chai spice taste like and what would you use it for?

  6. Have you ever used castor oil for your infusions? Cast oil has a lot of benefits to the body on its own. I’ve never done an infusion with castor oil but it’s on my list of things to do.

  7. Love this. I have my first batch of Vanilla Extract going. I have lots of different Mints that I dried. I think I may make extracts from some of them. Cinnamon extract sounds interesting. I made a couple salves this year. All this is new to me. Thanks for sharing with us.

  8. How do you dry the rose petals? I have a rose bush in front of my house. Didn’t know it could be used. Also how do you use it? Could you teach this?

  9. A woman after my own heart! Everything is so beautiful and useful. I always feel glad to see the young generation carry the torch for these kinds of home crafts. I was always a bit of an oddball in my circles, but my children never knew doctors and antibiotics! And my skin still looks healthy in my 60's. 😊
