OUR STORY:
We’re Tal & Mads – a Nurse & Teacher couple from Toronto, Canada who fell in love while traveling the world together. When we adopted our dog Bowie, we decided the best way to continue traveling would be in our self built camper van, Billie. We hit the road in January 2022 and drove all the way through the United States and into Mexico. We thought creating vlogs would be a great way to keep our friends and family updated while being a wonderful memento of our travels. And now, here we are sharing anything and everything that we think will make you smile.

  2. Hi Ladies, Like your Mum Talia, My Mum also made everything, We all used to have a Scottish delicacy Clootie Dumpling, Was mixture of dried fruit, oatmeal breadcrumbs, flour and suet, When it was either my birthday, My Dad, and my Sister, Nothing beats home made Soup, Nice to see you both again, Hope you had a lovely family get together, 💖💖🐶

  3. My dad owned a bakery, too. Over the decades, his brother (my uncle) must have rolled out hundreds of thousands of bagels. Some of my fondest memories are of watching my dad decorating cakes and putting together pastries of all sorts.

  4. This is the best video ever! I know first hand the magic of this chef and have been saying for years she should have a cooking show!!! 💕💕💕💕💕

  5. Tal and Mads; You girls should invite Me to come over and eat with Tal's family every Friday, of course Deb would have to cook double the amount of food that she usually cooks because I've got a large apatite! I'm on a see food diet, whenever I see food I eat it all!😁😸😹

  6. I love love bagels. Here in remote Montana the closest bagel shop is 70 miles away. Anything closer has only bread with a hole poked in the middle. 4 years ago I started making my own bagels. In my small kitchen making even 12 at a time is a chore, but I am successful. Once a month I make bagels, meaning once a month I get a fresh bagel.

  7. I followed your Mom's direction for this soup. I just had my first serving. It was delicious. My wife would have loved this soup. She passed last August. We had 37 years together. She would have loved seeing you two and your escapades. Thanks for the videos; I never miss one. Carol

  8. Awwww I loved this video!! I loved seeing your family and learning about all the delicious dishes that I grew up with too!! I love mom, dad and bro!! Tall and Mads I love watching your love and life, thanks for sharing!!

  9. Hubby and I made the leek soup this past weekend and it was amazing! So flavorful and filled us up and felt so healthy too! Since there are only two of us we ate it several meals and I think it got better tasting each time! I had never cooked with leeks before and I'm 60! Tonight we made the artichoke salad recipe. Now we want more of your mom's wonderful recipes. (We even bought the olive oil she suggested and that will be our go to brand from now on!) Thanks for sharing your family traditions!

  10. Am I dumb or what is your parents bakery? Your mom is amazing. I made the soup and salad. Chef’s kiss 😚 Can your mom have a conversation with Gordon Ramsey

  11. Thank your mom, since we’ve started cooking our vegetables that way they have never tasted so good!❤❤
