A few months ago I started experimenting with infusing my olive oil with fresh garlic.
To take it a step further, I had fresh herbs in my garden, but based on what I was reading, it was suggested to use any olive oil that you put fresh herbs in within 30 days.
I knew I would not use it up in 30 days so I opted to use my doTERRA essential oils instead of herbs.
Being that the the doTERRA essential oils have a supplement fact label on them, I know they are safe for cooking and internal use.
The average ratio for herbs to essential oils is 1 Tablespoon of fresh herbs to 1 drop of essential oil.
**I also store all of my garlic olive oil in the fridge for when I am ready to use it. You can always put the cold olive oil in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm it up too.
