BROCCOLI CHEESE CASSEROLE!! Excellent side dish for your THANKSGIVING DAY FEAST!! Fast & Easy to make!! Recipe below…

BROCCOLI CHEESE CASSEROLE

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Lightly oil a 9″ X 9″ baking dish. Set aside.

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese or substitute with sharp cheddar cheese (save 1/4 cup for Casserole topping)

1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese (save 1/4 cup for Casserole topping)

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

1 (6 ounce) can french-fried onions, divided

2 (16 ounces each) frozen broccoli florets, thawed

1. In a 3 to 4-quart sauce pan, combine sour cream, condensed soup, 3/4 cup of each shredded cheeses, and 1-1/2 cups onions. Stir over medium-heat until cheese begins to melt, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat.

2. Stir in thawed broccoli florets until well coated.

3. Evenly pour into prepared baking dish.

4. Bake, uncovered, until bubble, 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining two cheeses and onions. Bake until cheeses are melted, 10-15 minutes.

Tips: Store CASSEROLE airtight in refrigerate up to 2 days. Warm in microwave until desired warmness.

  2. This is actually the first broccoli casserole I've seen that didn't use white rice & ritz crackers (I always break up a sleeve of Ritz crackers & pour over the top right before I pop it in the oven), I'm gonna try it this way
