Hello Graceys World Family,
In todays video i will be showing you how to fry sweet and ripened plantains. Plantains are also known as lantanos maduros. When plantains are fried they are known as “DODO” in Nigeria.
I will also be showing how to cut plantains in three different shapes.

Plantains can be served with other food such as Fried egg, Beans, Rice and many other dishes.

Plantains are ripe when the skin is yellow in colour not green and when the skin is mostly black that is a sign that it is over ripe. Over ripe plantains when fried turns out to be very sweet and soft which some people prefer.

Plantains can be purchased in African and Asian shops.
