Cranberry Blueberry Sauce
12 oz fresh cranberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries, heaping
1/3 cup maple syrup or more to taste
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Rinse cranberries under cold water and sort out any bad or mushy cranberries. Add all the above ingredients to a sauce pan and place over medium heat. Once it starts to simmer, cook for 10 minutes stirring frequently. You will notice the cranberries will begin popping. Continue to stir and lower the temperature to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool and refrigerate. Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. I've been making it this way for a while now and it's way better than canned. I add freshly squeezed orange juice and use either honey or maple syrup (or a combo) to sweeten. So good! 😋👍🏽

  3. When I was a kid, it was my job to make cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving. Then as I learned more cooking skills, my sister took over that task.
    This recipe is so simple and delicious, you can make it with your kids.

  4. Looks great but i would use a sugar sub like monk fruit good f urinary tract cranberry juice in general is helpful for uti, but without honey sugar or maple syrup but great recipe 😊
