Today we’re making fugga aka chicken pho guess whose recipe this is my mom there are actually a lot of steps even though this takes under one hour to make so on my channel i have a longer video that breaks down each step and has measurements for each ingredient so the

First thing you want to do is make the chicken broth because that takes the longest the broth has fish sauce sugar rock sugar an onion a knob of ginger for the aromatics we have fennel sarnis cardamom cloves coriander and a cinnamon stick then we get them a little bit

Toasty and then we make them swim together in boiling water as the broth is coming to a boil make sure you skim off the fat on the surface all the garnish magically cut itself my mom prefers to boil water in a kettle and then pour it over the noodles to cook it

It’s way faster after about 30 minutes the broth is complete and we’re gonna take out everything inside like a true asian mom she will taste the broth and make sure there’s enough flavor if not we’re gonna add more fish sauce sugar and mushroom bouillon my mom’s secret then add in the aromatic liquid

Optionally you can add some meatballs too and here’s my mom brutally chopping up this chicken this took my mom exactly 43 minutes to make i don’t even need to tell you that this tastes good can you make this faster than my mom

  4. I have been a chef for 30 years and I question your moms broth…. you see chicken broth takes 4 hours of simmering,,, no way in hell it has flavor if the entire soup was mane in 45 minutes,

  7. yum, I'm def hitting up that recipe. but how do you guys like the texture of soggy meat skin in the soup, CRINGE!!! is it just me? I'd have to have the skin off but of course fried chicken is a whole different story
