Hello beautiful people and welcome to my new video. In today’s video, I’ll be sharing some tips and preparations for hosting guests. I always ensure to use fresh and clean bedding to give my guests a welcoming and comfortable experience. There’s something special about creating a warm and inviting space for friends and family.

My home is more than just a physical space; it’s a sanctuary where friends and family are not just welcomed but embraced. The assurance that my guests have a comfortable retreat adds an extra layer of hospitality, making each visit a memorable and delightful occasion for everyone involved.

To ensure a pristine environment, I begin by meticulously cleaning every corner. Using a vacuum to eliminate dust and disinfectant wipes to maintain a hygienic space. Now, let’s move on to making the bed. I’ve chosen neutral colors to create a cozy atmosphere and provide a clean and inviting feeling.

An essential step in the process is ensuring the bedding sheets are perfectly smooth. I find it important to iron the sheets, adding an extra touch of crispness and comfort for my guests. Can you see the difference ✨ To make their stay more comfortable, I add a few thoughtful touches.

A delicate candle, some soothing cream, and essential wipes and cotton, just in case they need it. For the finishing touch, I love to perfume the room with a clean and inviting scent. It adds that extra element of freshness, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for my guests.

And as a thoughtful touch, providing new slippers is always a great idea. What are your thoughts on the room? Let me know in the comments below! And feel free to share your special ideas for welcoming friends or family. Now, let’s shift our focus to cleaning and decorating the guests’ bathroom.

Ensuring it’s not only spotless but also adorned with thoughtful decor For me, cleaning is like therapy. It’s during these moments that the best ideas come to mind. While immersed in cleaning, I often find myself rushing to jot down the ideas that spontaneously come to mind.

What about you? Do you enjoy cleaning? Share your thoughts in the comments. With the cleaning complete, it’s now time to add some decorative touches. ✨✨✨ what do you think? Next day

I woke up early today to ensure I have enough time to prepare a delightful meal and tidy up afterward, ensuring a pristine kitchen. Today’s culinary highlight: Moroccan seafood Pastilla. A savory delight featuring flaky layers of pastry, perfectly seasoned fish, and a symphony of aromatic spices.

In Moroccan culture, preparing a pastilla is a way of showcasing hospitality and emphasizing the importance of guests. This dish represents a labor of love, a symbol of welcoming warmth that transcends mere food—it’s a tradition of honoring those we hold dear. First step is cleaning fish 🦐

In our pastilla, we primarily use a delightful combination of shrimps, calamari, and sole fish—or any other firm fish, cut into filets or steaks. Begin the cooking process in a large, heated skillet over medium-high heat. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter with some olive oil.

As the butter melts, take the opportunity to prepare the calamari steaks Add the sole fish to the sizzling skillet. For seasoning, add a pinch of salt, a dash of pepper, and a sprinkle of garlic powder. Once cooked to perfection, set the seasoned sole fish aside.

In the same or other large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter with olive oil, and introduce the shrimp to the sizzling warmth. Season the shrimp with 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper, sautéing for 1 or 2 minutes until the shrimp turns white and is perfectly cooked through.

Drain and reserve the liquids and set the shrimp aside. In the same skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter with olive oil and add the calamari steak. Season the shrimp with 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper.

When the calamari is cooked, drain and reserve the liquids and set the calamari aside. Repeat the same thing for mushrooms When mushrooms are cooked, drain and reserve the liquids and set aside. Now, it’s time to prepare the sauce.

A flavorful concoction that will infuse every layer of our pastilla with a burst of delightful taste. resh parsley, 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of mustard, a dash of Tabasco sauce or any hot sauce, soy sauce, paprika, salt, pepper, cumin and garlic.

Enhance the mixture with the vibrant zest of preserved lemon and a drizzle of olive oil. As you mix the ingredients, gradually add olive oil to achieve a creamy texture. For the finishing touch, squeeze in some fresh lemon juice. Now, let’s bring it all together. Mix the prepared sauce with the cooked fish.

This harmonious blend will infuse every bite of the pastilla with the exquisite flavors we’ve carefully crafted. Don’t forget to set aside a portion of the sauce for later. Now, it’s time to transfer everything into the oven.

This step ensures that any excess moisture in the fish is evaporated, preventing it from compromising the integrity of the pastry later on. In the meantime, let’s prepare the vermicelli. Add boiling water to the liquids we drained from the fish and mushrooms then soak the vermicelli in this seasoned water.

Allowing the noodles to absorb the rich flavors, creating a delightful complement to our Moroccan pastilla. After soaking, drain the vermicelli and chop it into small pieces. Add the remaining sauce we set aside earlier, and mix.

I used only half of the vermicelli, as I prepared a generous amount. The remaining half will be saved for making some fish rolls later. In a large cooking pot, cook the vermicelli for 3-4 minutes to eliminate any excess water. Now, add the cooked shrimps, calamari and mushrooms to the vermicelli and mix.

With all the ingredients prepared, it’s time to assemble the pastilla. However, it’s crucial to let them cool to room temperature before assembling. In the meantime, let’s prepare a delightful side dish to complement our Moroccan feast. Begin by sautéing some gambas, setting aside for later decoration.

These beautifully cooked gambas will add a visually stunning touch to our finished pastilla. In the same pot, add a generous amount of butter, olive oil, and finely chopped parsley. This flavorful mixture will serve as the base for our side dish, infusing it with a rich and aromatic taste.

Add the gambas to the pot, seasoning the mixture with a pinch of salt, pepper and a slice of lemon. Let it cook on very low heat, allowing the shrimps to release their flavorful essence into the sauce. Time to assemble Pastilla

Brush the oven pan with melted butter and a touch of vegetable oil. Overlap sheets of filo pastry, ensuring they fully cover the area. Allow the filo sheets to drape well beyond the edge of your work area.

Make sure to generously brush the filo pastry with melted butter. This ensures the sheets will become wonderfully crispy. Begin by placing half of the seafood filling and vermicelli on the filo pastry. Layer the sole fish on top, creating a delectable and flavorful combination. add the remaing half of the seafood filling

Gently gather the excess pastry up and around the filling, enclosing as much as you can. Strive to maintain a nice circular shape with smooth sides for an elegant presentation. Brush the top and side of the bastilla generously with melted butter then with the egg yolk. (I use my hands for this step.)

Bake in the middle of preheated oven to 350°F (180°C), until golden brown and crispy; about 35 to 45 minutes. While the pastilla bakes, let’s prepare a fresh salad to accompany this delightful Moroccan dish. A vibrant salad will provide a refreshing contrast to the richness of the pastilla.

For this delightful salad, use halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, ripe avocado, and fresh arugula. The combination of these vibrant ingredients will create a burst of color and flavor to accompany our pastilla. For seasoning, drizzle olive oil, squeeze fresh lemon juice, and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.

This simple yet flavorful dressing will enhance the natural tastes of the salad ingredients. For an added touch of crispness, sprinkle pumpkin seeds over the salad. Now, let’s prepare the table for our Moroccan feast. Arrange the dishes, ensuring a welcoming and visually appealing setup for your guests.

With just 10 minutes until my guests arrive, it’s time to infuse the house with the enchanting aroma of oud. Simultaneously, I’m preparing a Moroccan tea tray to welcome them with warmth and tradition. fresh mint from little garden My guests have arrived, and we’ve enjoyed a delightful moment sipping tea.

Now, it’s time to serve the mouthwatering Moroccan lunch we’ve prepared together. Decorating the pastilla with the sautéed gambas we set aside earlier to enhance the visual appeal.
