Hello everyone and welcome back to midwest mood and food today i’m going to show you how to make a cherry cheesecake really simple easy to follow directions and it’s a family favorite of ours every time there’s a family gathering i get the request to make it so let’s get started

So today for our cherry cheesecake we’re going to be using a 13×9 pan and we’re going to use the keebler graham cracker crumbs now if you want to crush your own graham crackers that’s up to you i just buy this because it’s a lot easier so we’re going to add our graham cracker

Crumbs with the butter and sugar and on the box because i’m using a 13 by 9 pan i’m going to double the recipe so go ahead and do your crumbs butter and sugar okay we’re gonna pour in our graham cracker crumbs and our sugar and we’re just going to mix this around

Right in the pan once this is mixed i’ll add the butter all right now that we’ve got that mixed we are going to slowly add our melted butter and mix that all around in here and while it mixes we press firmly to get it to the sides and the bottom of the pan

So just mix that up add a little more the rest of the butter and we’ll get it all on the bottom and the sides now it doesn’t have to be perfect um because you know people are going to eat it anyway um so just uh get it firmly as much as

You can to the bottom and the sides and once we’ve got that all set we’ll put it in the oven for a few minutes and pull it out and then it will have to cool okay so let’s get it in the oven all right i think it’s done we’ll pull

It out of the oven here and there you have it there’s our crumbs and what i’m gonna do is let this cool for a while and then go ahead and make our cream cheese all right we’re going to put our philadelphia cream cheese in there and we’re going to mix that

Mix that up with our lemon juice our sweetened condensed milk and our [Applause] vanilla [Applause] so so I’ll just put the rest of this in and we’ll be all done Okay now we’re just going to put our filling in there in our pan it is cool and we’ll get it in there and spread it all out evenly and once we’ve spread it out evenly we will put it in the fridge to chill for an hour or two and then add our cherry Been chilled for about two hours and we’re ready to put our cherry topping on there See there’s one can and it’s done about a little more than half so i will use the other can and this is the 21 ounce Okay we’re ready to dish a piece out see if i can get it out there nice There it is You
