Let this be the next recipe you try this holiday season how to make chocolate pecan pie for the filling we’ll start by roughly chopping 1 and 1/4 cups of Pecans in a small bxl combine 1/2 cup of chocolate chips I’m using dark chocolate if you’d like a lighter chocolate flavor you could use milk chocolate and 4 tblspoon of butter you can melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave or you can melt it over the stove using a double

Boiler just make sure not to overheat if you still see small bits of chocolate just keep stirring and they’ll finish melting in a small Bowl combine 1 and 1/2 TP of instant coffee powder with 2 tasp of vanilla you could also use espresso powder in place of the instant

Coffee if you love a rich dark chocolate flavor this just enhances that a little bit More so now we’ll combine the chocolate mixture with the coffee and vanilla stir together well and set Aside to another mixing bowl add 1 cup of granulated Sugar whisking 2 tbsp of cocoa powder and a heaping 1/4 teaspoon of salt if you’re using salted butter you could use a level 1/4 teaspoon add three large eggs and whisk together Well next we’ll add one cup of honey and if you don’t have honey you could use corn syrup or golden syrup in place of the honey Now it’s time to stir in the melted chocolate Mixture if you’re a fan of pecan pie and you really love chocolate I think you’ll like this Recipe And for the final ingredient stir in the roughly chopped pecans that we chopped Earlier once you mix this in you’ll pour it into your favorite unbaked pie shell I’ll link two recipes of mine in the description below one made with all butter and another one an oldfashioned recipe made with shortening which style of crust would you prefer be sure to let me know in the comments

Below pour the filling into a standard 9 in unbaked pie shell bake in a preheated 325° oven for about an hour and 15 minutes all ovens are different so just keep check you’ll want to be sure to bake it long enough until it Puffs in the middle and just
