Happy cooking everyone!!

Hello everyone it’s Glenda and welcome back to creative Grandma’s Kitchen today’s recipe is one of my daughter’s recipes she makes a wonderful buffalo chicken dip for her dad every year and he just loves to go to her house when she has her holiday parties now she

Doesn’t just have a party she has a party when you go to her house for an event she goes all out she’ll make soup and salad and dips and a m course and mac and cheese and anything and everything you can imagine for her parties so you know everyone has a good

Time when they go to her house well this recipe is so quick and easy if you have company coming and you have unexpected guests coming and you’re looking around your house thinking what can I whip together in just a few minutes and have something special that everyone would

Love then you’re going to love this buffalo chicken dip very fast to make just takes you a couple minutes so let me show you what you’re going to need to make this wonderful buffo chicken dip the first ingredient you’re going to need is 2 10 oz cans of chicken breast

This you can buy in a can it’s already precooked ready to go but if you have fresh cooked chicken then that’s always best you need about 20 oz or 2 and 1/2 cups of precooked Chicken Chopped up so the next item you’re going to need is 16

Oz of cream cheese it doesn’t matter what brand it is but just make sure it’s the plain cream cheese so I’m using 2 8 oz containers here so the next ingredient you’re going to need is you’re going to need one cup of ranch dressing and again it has to be the

Ranch dressing and not the dip so one cup of ranch dressing so the next ingredient you’re going to need is 34 cups of hot sauce now I use the Frank’s Red Hot original you can use your favorite brand but again 34 cup of hot sauce so the last ingredient you’re

Going to need is 2 cups of shredded cheese now I’m using cheddar jack cheese which is a combination between cheddar cheese and monade jack cheese now you can just use cheddar cheese if you wish or moday jack cheese or you can use the cheddar jack like me again two cups of

Shredded cheese so let’s go over to the stove and let’s get our buffalo chicken dip started so the first thing we’re going to do is you need to get a pan I’m just going to start my stove get that heat on now I’m going to be cooking this

On low to medium heat the first thing you’re going to do is add that chicken and again that’s 2 and 1/2 cups of precooked chopped up chicken now I didn’t chop mine up I’ll do that as I’m cooking it we’re going to add our 34 cup of hot

Sauce and then we’re going to add our 16 oz of cream cheese so get that in there and now we’re just going to stir this up and we’re going to cook this until it gets hot and creamy so I’m just going to take my spoon and cut up that cream

Cheese just make it a little bit smaller so it helps cook faster so as you’re using your spoon and just like cutting up your cream cheese you can also do that with your chicken you can just make it into smaller pieces so I’m just going to let this

Cook until the cream cheese melts it’s hot and everything is creamy you can see that our cream cheese is starting to melt it’s starting to get creamy but it still has some big chunks of that cream cheese so I’m just going to work and stir and kind of spread that

Cream cheese out and continue cooking it until all that cream cheese is melted I’m back you can see that all my chicken is shredded now I chunked it up with my spoon my cream cheese is melted and now we’re going to go ahead and add our

Ranch dressing that was one cup of ranch dressing and now I’m going to add only 1 and 1/2 cups of my cheese I’m going to save a half a cup for putting on top so save that extra half a cup of cheese and then you’re just going to stir this up until well

Blended now I’m just going to turn my heat off now and continue mixing this now you can see that moday jack cheese just gives it that little little bit of stringiness to it that adds that delicious stringy cheese taste so I took my buffalo chicken dip

Off the stove and now we’re going to transfer it into our crock pot now I just have the little 2q crock pot here which is the perfect size to put your dip and this way your buffalo chicken dip stays nice and hot for your guest or

For yourself and then when you want it you can lift it up and it’ll be nice and hot so let’s get that put in the crock pot again you can see it’s the perfect size that fills it right up to the top so this recipe makes about 2 quart and

Then after you get it in the crock pot you just want to take that other half a cup of cheese and dump it right on top of your dip so now since it’s in the crock pot all you have to do is put the

Lid on it and you want to put it on low now this is already precooked it’s ready to go you don’t need to keep cooking this you just want to keep it warm so when you’re ready to serve when your crackers or vegetables that it’s nice

And warm and ready to go for yourself for your guests and that’s how easy it is to make the buffalo chicken dip so a special thank you to my daughter lri for sharing her recipe so I can do this video and share it with my viewers and
