The simplest cranberry purée/frosting/sauce recipe to use as filling or topping for desserts
🥘Ingredients:
cranberries (frozen) – 300 g
water – 50 ml
sugar – 3 tbsp (or to taste)
cornstarch – 1.5 tbsp
📝Instructions:
Place the cranberries in a saucepan
Add water, sugar and cornstarch
Bring to a boil
Cook for a few minutes until thickened stirring constantly
Blend until smooth and let it cool down before using
If you’re making the puree ahead, transfer it to the bowl and cover with plastic food wrap as shown.
