The next things we’re going to make is bacon WRA asparagus essentially you are going to create little asparagus bundles using the bacon to wrap it all around I have this pan lined with um a double um sheet of aluminum foil this is to catch the bacon greases just for easier clean

Up this is just a regular cookie sheet and then I also have parchment paper just to keep things from sticking if you don’t have parchment paper that is okay you can just use foil to L your pan and if you don’t mind fleeting up the grease

You don’t have to use foil at all but I like to do things to make my life a bit easier at clean up so I’m going to grab three sprads of asparagus and try to get them even at the bottom and I’m going to grab a piece of

Bacon and I’m going to try to keep this as tight as possible and you’re just going to wrap it and they don’t have to be perfect but the tighter you get them the easier it is for them to set and when you have to flip them in stove to cook the other

Side it just makes it a bit easier you don’t want them to pull apart as they’re cooking so see I’ve got that pretty tight I’m just going to line that here and you can put them very close together it’s not going to stick they will be

Fine and again you’re going to roll them anyway when we’re cooking them so I’m going to roll out a few of these and then I’m going to give you cooking Instructions Okay so I have this completed they are all wrapped I did have some extra stuff put those on the side um I don’t know if you notice but I have my asparagus in a glass of water um just so you know when you get asparagus from the store if you

Want to keep it fresh I know asparagus goes really bad really quick if you leave in that bag and put it in the bottom of the fridge don’t do that treat your asparagus like flowers cut the ends off and if you put them in a cup of

Water and put them in the fridge and treat them like flowers it will last a lot longer anyway I um have this completed I had some exra asparagus I just put that on the side it’ll get some bacon flavor for those that you know just some extra I didn’t want to waste

Asparagus it’s not like it’s cheap um but you’re going to do this for 20 minutes total at 400° so you’re going to do 10 minutes on one side flip it and then do another 10 minutes you want to make sure that the bacon is cooked so um

You don’t want it soggy or slimy it should be a crisp red color when it is finished now if your ends are starting to get too burnt or you feel like they’re getting crispy you can put foil over the ends and that way they won’t get too crisp while your bacon finishes

Cooking but you just I want to stress the importance you want your bacon to be completely cooked for you to serve this these are fantastic really really good bacon and vegetables are just amazing some people don’t feel that way that’s fine but this is my family’s preference

We really like these bacon WRA asparagus let me know how yours turned out love to see it I hope you enjoy this recipe thank you again for watching thank you so much for watching this part of the holiday prep series up next we have fried corn again if you’re
