I can’t take credit for this salad. It was shared with me by my family and now I am sharing it with you.

What you will need:
Mixed greens or Romaine Lettuce
1 cup chopped Tomatoes (I used Roma tomatoes but any will do)
1 cup chopped Avocado
1 cup Cucumbers
1/2 Cup chopped Shallot or Purple onion
1/2 to 2/3 cup Cheese (I used Feta)
3 tsps Cavenders Greek Seasoning the best salad seasoning (you may need more)
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
Other options: You could add other veggies if you like, maybe some mushrooms, olives, get creative. Or experiment with different cheeses.

Put Lettuce in bowl.
Add Tomatoe, Cucumber, Avocadoes, Shallots.
Add Oil, Vinegar, and Seasoning.
Taste to see if you need more seasoning.

Hey welcome to cooking with lace I’m Lacy and today I’m going to share with you a really easy salad that we have at our house kind of a lot and it’s really simple and people love it and there’s really not much to it and so I’m going

To show you how to put it together like I said there’s not much to it but it kind of like tastes fancy I’m going to start by putting some lettuce in my bowl so I have my bowl and I have some half and half mix I’m just going to put some in the

Bowl So I guess it’s about half of this container okay that and then I’m going to chop my tomatoes so I’m using Roma tomatoes and the reason why a little bit easier to to eat so I’m just going to cut these into bite-sized pieces so that they’re not

Too too much to e so we’re going to put that in the salad and I’m just going to finish chopping this so they look like little triangles and actually I’m not going to use the Other Tomato cuz this looks like enough okay now we’re going to do a

Little cucumber and I already peeled it a little bit we’re going to cut this up and I think I’m just going to leave this Round and it’s okay like I just cut this one and it wasn’t perfect who Cares okay so that’s that’s about I don’t know half a cup okay I think I’m just going to do half of this one trash pile over here guess maybe it ends up being a cup and now we’re going to do an avocado and I ran some guy in the store

One day I was trying to find one and he told me that if this little thingy is still in there then it means it’s right I don’t know how true that is now I feel like I can’t buy them without that little thingy I don’t

Know so we’re going to this one has a little bit of a bad spot but just going to cut that out and we’re just going to cut these into little pieces I love avocado but sometimes it tastes funny honestly okay this thing is not working

So let me see if I can I know what I’m going to do and I feel like we do need a little bit more avocado okay and then sometimes we put um purple onion in so there’s my onion so I’m just going to put over

Here just going to break it up a little bit so you don’t get a whole thing you can have a little you know a ring okay and so I have all my stuff that’s really it you can eat it just like this like as far as you know what you

Put in it but I also have some shredded white cheddar sharp white cheddar I have some feta cheese and I have some grated Parmesan um if you were feeling like cheese but sometimes I don’t put cheese today I was kind of I’m not going to put

All these cheeses you know just pick one but today I was going to film like maybe some feta so I was going to put some of that in there and you can put more if you want it’s really up to you so now what do we season it with we

Use um extra virgin olive oil I use balsamic vinegar and I use this seasoning a Greek seasoning so if you’ve never heard of this it’s really good I don’t know I’m kind of like a what feels right so I just kind of sprinkle a little bit

On so that kind of feels feels right I don’t want to put more than that because this this can this is a little salty um and then we’ll do a little bit of balsamic vinegar and we’re just going to okay so we’re just going to put a little bit of

This okay that feels right I don’t know how much that is maybe a tablespoon I kind of um cook with all my senses so I use like sound like sometimes I’ll listen and I’ll be like oop oh that sounds right or you know like just kind of like drizzling like I’m

Drizzling and I’m listening for it and I’m like oop that sounds good or that feels good I just use all my senses when I’m cooking I forgot to bring something to mix it up with but I’m going to go grab that we’re going to mix

It up and taste it and see if we need some um some more seasoning we might need some more of something I don’t know yet so I’m going to go grab some to stir It so we’re just going to stir this up a little bit And see this is what I was talking about it’s like a pretty salad and it kind of seems fancy but there’s really nothing to it so so I’m going to take a little bit in my bowl I want to try to get everything you know cucumbers avocados Tomatoes feta

And actually I can see that it kind of looks like it could use some more better so you kind of just like look at it and see the ratio of things and kind of looks like I could use some more better okay so now we’re going to try it
