Hello friends welcome to cooking with claudia today i’m showing you how to perfectly bake crispy chicken wings in the oven these wings are so delicious very flavorful and they taste just like deep fried chicken wings let’s get started we’re using chicken wings for this recipe and i’ve gone ahead and cut up my

Chicken wings i’m going to show you how to cut your chicken wings in case you didn’t know how to first cut off the tip of the wing next turn the wing over and cut through the joint in the middle once that is done we’re all set to start

Cooking we’re going to season the wings with some spices i’m mixing together garlic powder onion powder smoked paprika chili powder cumin brown sugar some baking powder the baking powder is going to make the chicken very crispy last season with salt and black pepper to taste all ingredients and measurements will be

Listed in the description box mix everything together once everything is very well mixed in you’re going to grab a ziploc bag then pour half of the spice mixture into the bag then keep the remaining half for later next you’re going to place half of the chicken wings into the bag with the spices

Close the bag once the bag is closed you’re going to shake until the chicken is very well coated in the spices the chicken should look like this they should be very well seasoned next you’re going to grab a baking sheet then place a baking rack over it place

The coated chicken wings over the rack the rack is going to ensure even heat circulation around the chicken that way they can crisp up very well use the rest of the spice mixture to coat the other half of the chicken then place them over the rack

Once that is done make sure your oven is preheated to 425 degrees fahrenheit place the chicken into the oven to roast for 20 minutes then i’ll show you what to do next after the wings have roasted for 20 minutes you’re going to take them out and flip them

Once you’re done flipping them you’re going to place them back into the oven to roast for another 20 minutes after the wings have roasted for the second 20 minutes you’re going to take them out and flip them again once you’re done flipping them you’re going to place them back into the oven

To roast for another 10 to 15 minutes so in total we’re roasting the rings for 50 to 55 minutes and here they are when they’re all done they look so good they have the most delicious smell i’m going to show you how crispy these came out i’m garnishing with some fresh parsley

These wings came out really delicious the inside is very tender while the outside is really crispy if you’d like to make this recipe check the description box i’ll leave all the ingredients and measurements there thank you guys for watching i’ll see you in my next video bye

  1. Where is this discription box. Im new to cooking. What size are the ingedients, a cup, 1/2 cup?

  2. Claudia- I have made your chicken wings several times for my family. They are the Bomb! They are tasty, crispy and finger licking good! Thank you for sharing your recipes with us!

  3. Great recipe. I didn’t use a rack just parchment paper and was impatient so I but the oven on full power (Broil) and left them in for 20 minutes. Didn’t flip but they came out perrrrrfect. I use a lot of spicy chili.

  4. Thanks Claudia! So simple and tasty. Now, its just the issue of finding an easy way to clean the non stick rack. Maybe I should spray the rack first, so its not as sticky or baked on?

  5. Your wings look awesome! Very similar to how I bake mine. Thanks for sharing!

But I must say there is one key step you should take before seasoning then and putting them in the over. If you take the time to dry them thoroughly, they get even more crispy! Some people dry them by patting them with paper towels. Personally I dry each one individually, to make sure they are very dry. The more dry you can get them, the more crispy! And of course the baking powder help too.

And a side note. Try to use Aluminum Free Baking Powder (NOT Baking Soda). Sometimes when you use baking powder with aluminum in it, it give the wings a slightly metallic taste. Not horrible but not great. Aluminum Free Baking Powder will solve that!

  6. Hi from Barcelona in Spain. This is by far the best chicken wings recipe I’ve ever tried!! Thanks a lot for sharing @Claudia!

  7. I love your recipes and your channel but if I may make a suggestion. Can you start with (preheat your oven to 425F) or whatever temp is required next time?

  8. Where do you find Chicken Andouille Sausage? I live in Georgia and I have not been able to get chicken Andouille Sausage anywhere.
