What is happening people it’s your girl elena and we’re getting boozy today i am going to show you how to make a classic dirty vodka martini I love to have a drink every once in a while and this drink feels super fancy and honestly my favorite part are the olive snacks on top of the drink so let’s start making it the first thing that we want to do is we want to get our glass

Really cold so what i like to do is just take some ice put it into our glass i’m actually using a coop today i feel like it looks really fancy and then i’m pouring some water in here this is the best way to get a super chilled glass and at the end of

The day i want my martini to be ice cold i can’t hear you ice cold alright enough of that now it is time to build our drink i’m starting off by putting some ice into a cocktail shaker [Applause] because i like my martinis shaken not stirred just like james bond

Next up vodka if you want to do gin you can absolutely do gin i really like how smooth the vodka comes across and it really lets the olive juice shine so i like to use two ounces of vodka and then a half an ounce of dry vermouth

And dry vermouth is awesome it is a really solid thing to have on your bar cart this is an essential for any martini in my opinion next up some olive juice i really like using spanish style olives here because it has an awesome salinity that really you know permeates through the entire drink

Funny story this person that i know he was like oh i thought a martini i thought it was came in a dirty glass no sir it did not i’m using a half an ounce here just pour it straight from the jar boom get your garnish ready three olives on this fancy metal toothpick

I like big olives pitted olives too obviously look at that set that down come back for you later let’s shake it first and when you’re shaking it you just want to shake it until everything feels really cold so i do this for like 15 to 30 seconds

And then it may feel like it gets a little stuck ha ha there she blows sufficiently chilled pour that out take your strainer oh man garnish she fancy this looks pretty right now but it’s probably gonna fall so just put it in like that and there you go a dirty vodka martini cheers

Makes me wanna you know just like do a dance this is chilled to perfection it has just the amount of brine that i am looking for the vodka is smooth and the vermouth really rounds it all out this is a beautiful drink it should become a staple in your
