Hey guys welcome back to my channel today I’ll be sharing with you guys how I make my fried plantain so to get started you need a plantain some of them look green when you first buy them but I’ll a I’ve had mine for a couple days

So it kind of ripen a little bit so to get started you cut each end of your plaintain out and you make a cut at any place in the painting then once you have that little slit you take it and peel off the skin from your plaintain and I

Cut my plantain diagonally approximately half an inch thick okay now you need some water in a bowl in one line so I start off with some water and I cut my lime squeeze some lime in it and not throw that pill in there and not add about half a tablespoon of salt there’s

Really no measurement for the water you just kind of put water in a bowl and put some salt and your lemon and kind of taste for a salty but not too salty flavor and now you take your plantain and drop it in the salted in line water

Just so the salt can get in there so you can get some flavor from the plantain okay so once my oh I’ll get hot I took my painting go ahead and to have hair all of the grill ok so it’s been about five minutes now remove my maintain from the oil

And now let this cool down for about two minutes or three okay it’s been about three minutes my plaintain here let’s cool down a little bit so now I take a flint and pressor and I’ll put my planting in there and just squeeze it down so I can look like

So and if you don’t have a plantain press where you can take the peel of your plantain and put your planting in there and give it a squeeze and you’ll have the same effect okay now you take that water that you started with that salted water you take

You press plaintain dip it in that water a little bit and dump it back and down until it’s golden-brown okay guys my plantain is all done it should look something like this you should have that nice golden brown to your print in this is great as a side

Dish or as a appetizer to any parties so hopefully you guys can try this dish over the holidays and don’t forget to subscribe share like and comment and thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart for watching my videos thank you and have a happy holiday god bless

For today I’ll be adding my veggies so they can saute
