    Ingredients:

    * 4 boneless pork chops
    * 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    * 2 teaspoons garlic powder
    * 1 teaspoon onion powder
    * 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    * 1 teaspoon dried basil
    * 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    * 1/2 teaspoon salt
    *2 tablespoons olive oil
    * Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    2. Prepare Pork Chops:
    Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps them to get a nice sear and prevents excess moisture.

    3. Mix Parmesan Coating:
    In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

    4. Coat Pork Chops:
    Brush each pork chop with olive oil on both sides. Coat each chop with the Parmesan mixture, pressing it onto the pork to adhere.

    5. Sear Pork Chops:
    Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they develop a golden-brown crust.

    6. Transfer to Oven:
    If your skillet is oven-safe, transfer it directly to the preheated oven. If not, transfer the seared pork chops to a baking dish.

    7. Bake:
    Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).

    8. Broil for Crispy Top (Optional):
    If you desire a crispier top, you can turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes, but keep a close eye to prevent burning.

    9. Garnish and Serve:
    Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
