**knife noise** Today I’m gonna try something I’ve never had  before Brock broccoli and cheddar soup half a   stick of butter half of an onion after about three  or four minutes your onions should look like that   we’re gonna add some flour now our flour soaked  up all that butter we do this heavy whipping  

Cream all right now that’s nice and thick I’m  gonna add some chicken stock continue to stir   this thing and bring back to a boil now I’ll get  you one large head of broccoli dice it up into  

Small pieces we’re gonna go on and start adding  our broccoli this is about half a cup of mild   cheddar and now it’s time to add some real flavor  you can go to Atwoods and get some Dan-O’s here Irish white cheddar these little cheese shredders  they are for parmesan cheese not for Irish cheddar  

Looks like the cheese is melted before you  eat it you gotta have the crunchy Dan-O’s follow exactly how I just made this and  you’ll thank me later Yum Yum Get Ya Sum.

  4. I use that exact spatula whenever I make a roux. It works great to smash any globs of flour, works perfectly!

  6. How unprofessional can you get? Doing that to a chefs knife and cutting board teaches really bad habits. If you're doing it at home while not filming it's your business, but on a YouTube short your demonstrating to people who might not know the difference between right and wrong a cardinal sin of knife use.

    Good, cheap, comfort food.
    Veggie stock works well, too. 😊
    Here's a tip… Don't throw away the stalk of your broccoli, peel it!! You can peel away the tough, outer "skin" and the inside of the stalk is tender so chop it up in your soup, too!

  9. I was at walmart this evening shopping, and looked all over for the Dan-O's and couldn't find it anywhere. I asked an employee in the grocery section and they had no idea, but had heard of it. Pretty disappointing. Maybe you should have your people look into it, and make sure they're displaying your stuff right. This was in Richmond, KY.
