Hi there!

Creatine is cheap, very well-researched and proven to be safe, so I’m wondering what this awesome community thinks about it?

Studies like [this](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7246861/) showed many benefits, including improved muscle power and endurance, better cognitive health and many others.

Do you take it? Have you tried it before? What’s your experience?

Hitting 50 made me going down the rabbit hole of everything. I nearly tried a lot of things. You know what it came back to for me? The longest living people are not taking creatine. They are eating whole foods, have a purpose, are social, and move their bodies. Every time I see something else I try to remind myself of this.

The scientific consensus is that it’s safe. I take it everyday. There are even cognitive benefits. It takes a couple months to build up in your system and really help. Doesn’t hurt to try. Whole foods are wonderful but I wouldn’t say no to things like this just so you can wear a whole food plant base badge. Plus this really falls into supplements and not food and so I don’t even think it would take your badge away.
