Hi y’all this is Maddie from MD’s kitchen and today I’m going to make you all delicious chicken noodle soup and I’ll be making it from stretch and everything I’ll be using is very healthy it’s not no unhealthy ingredients because mostly I’ll be using U vegetables and I’ll be using spices

Little spice and chicken I’ll be using the thigh of the chicken and I Al this what I be using I’ll be using some chicken broth and try when you get the broth try to get some good broth you know homemade chicken stock I’ll be using for my noodles I’ll be using some

Spaghetti cuz I like that that’s a good taste the noodles not that big so I’ll be using the pepper salt and this is some bile Lea here’s my uh Sasson I put a little bit on there and here’s my th and this is my um ba uh baby deal some

Deal a little deal okay um here’s some butter and this fresh garlic here’s my vegetable I be using onion carrots and celery for my vegetable and a little uh parsley at the end here I got some lemon juice and here’s my chicken I’ll be using the chicken thighs because and

With the skin on it I wash them and I clean them because uh you’ll get more flavor with the skin and the bone with the bone so when you’re cooking it make sure you use that part and I think the breast not I’m sorry the thigh and the

Wings give the best flavor so I won’t I won’t be missing I’ll use only thigh okay and the first thing I’m going to do I’m going start seasoning of my thighs and I’m going only thing I use I was salt and pepper like I said this is a

Healthy salad and I use a little Sasson I use a little of that and I’m going to put them it together in here and I’m going coat my chicken with it put some of that in there you don’t want to put too much cuz you don’t want

It to be too red put some salt in there you want to use a a little too much salt but you like I said you’re going to taste it and you can never cuz if you think you got too much salt what you would do is put a little water

Dilute the uh sodium a little bit I’m going stir this up good salt pepper and a some Sasson that’s all you put it don’t put no garlic in there if you do use garlic make sure the garlic is a fresh garlic you don’t want to put it with your

Chicken cuz this is going to season it good enough and so what I’m going to do I’m going to take this season I just Stir It Up and I’m going take it and put it on the sprinkle it on the uh chicken you know then one when I put it

On the chicken I’m going to take and put some butter I got a see this pot here I got a butter so I’m put some butter and a little olive oil in here and let this kind of you know Brown in the pot I’m

Going let braze it in the in the in the pot and that’s what I’ll be cooking the chicken into I’m going turn this over and do the same size and I’m going get back with you when I finish okay I seasoned the chicken and I

Let it rest for a while what I’m getting ready to do I’m getting ready to braze this chicken in this pot here I use my as a thick pot braze it in that so I’m put a little oil in here just a little bit of oil and I’m put some butter in

Here once it get hot I’m putting this oil until until the butter won’t burn that’s will get a good flavor but it’s hard put some but in here and I’m going let this um get hot and I’mma put this chicken in here and then I’m going start chopping

My vegetable that I’m going cook the uh I’m going put the after the chicken get done I’m going put the vegetable in in in the same uh pot okay okay uh my uh my uh uh oil in my but is ready for me to put my chicken

I’m going to take and bra it in there C it down I don’t want it to all I want to do is get a good brown on it so get brown put it in here you try to use that butter and oil just make it taste good too instead of using just oil

And the reason I put a little butter in here to I mean oil so the butter won’t brown but normally I would just put uh so the butter won’t burn I normally would just put um um just a butter but I’mma to cook it with that so I’m going to let this cook

To a braid cut up kind of high till it get started and in the meantime I’mma start on my vegetabl the vegetable I’ll be using is I’ll be using like I said fresh garlic and I’ll be using carrots onion and celery so I started on them a little bit

I’m going just you cut them in kind of bite size you know you don’t want them too big want about the same size cuz you going to Sal them no you don’t want like can said you don’t want them too big that’s a good size for me all of them

Will probably be about the same size I’m start while this I’mma get back with you once I Cho these vegetables up okay y’all the chicken braids on one side I’m getting ready to turn this over I might have a little too much um just a

Little greas I might P some of the good flavor some of it outside good that look you going to take and once the cook I’m going pull this skin off and let it cook in some BR and going pour the skin out of it take some of this grease out of

See I good oh that’s going to be so good if it was done I probably could eat it now okay then I’m going get back with you when I get ready to put the uh the stock in here okay all my celery my onions and my carrots about almost about

The same size and here’s that chicken that I um braised with the salt pepper and the S on that’s it right here so what I’m getting ready to do now in the same pot that I took the uh the chicken out I I raed my chicken I’m going to put

My vegetables in here I mean you ain’t got to use all these vegetabl but you know the more you know I’m a vegetable person and you don’t change the pot just use the same pot so you can get them bra I always use a lot of them I’m just

Going let these cook sauté and I got a little extra you know grease out I don’t want to use all that butter and oil so I told in case if I need some for these vegetables you don’t want them too big some people you know that really that

Cannot get too big I I don’t know why I said that because uh once they cook you know I think best is better for your little roll or little half gone I’m going going and let this cook so once it’s sauté I’ll be able to uh

Put my chicken in there and my broth and get back my other uh seasoning okay my Vesper has sauteed what I’m going to do now I’mma put my chicken my thigh chicken thighs in here I’mma season put the broth you know put that in I have I me two four

Six I had six thighs you going shred them when they get done I’m going put this broth in here my other seasoning in here and I’m going to let this cook for about 4 an hour so I’m going put this in here you want to put quite a bit in here

Cuz you got other you know you got your other things go here I think this will probably would be one of these a container probably be enough and this only container most of I see broth in so you’ll know this one put this in here the whole thing and

I’mma let it cook for about 45 minutes until the chicken get tender and fold off the bone to make this a good old stock but I’m going to put in here I’m going to put a bay leaf a couple of bay leaves in here you know I hope y’all had

A good Christmas I did I had a very good I was out of town I was here and so but I was back for New Year’s and I cooked like I peas like everybody else I put two I’m putting two bay leaves and this is deal I’m going break some deal you

Can cut it up or you can put it in hole and stem it out later but I’m going to break this as deal give it a good taste and here’s some time I can take that off the you know sometime people just takeing take it off

Put some of that in there and this is just the flavorite that’s your you don’t have to if you want to if you don’t want to so I’m going let this cook so like this cook that already looking good I’m let this cook for a while once

This get done I’m going to add my noodles and I might I might add me some cornbread on the side of mine let me put a little pepper in here I love pepper see how that look Already and if I put you know if I thought I have enough vegetable what I do is chicken noodle soup really is not chicken you can make chicken vegetable soup but this is noodle so I’m putting some pepper in here that’s only thing I would put in right now and let this cook

For a while for like I said 45 minutes or to an hour and I’ll get back with you all when the chicken get done okay my uh chicken thighs have came out of the uh stock and they ready to go make sure they’re kind of you should

Wear gloves if they’re hot I let mine cool down so in the meantime what I’m going to do is you can cook your noodle I’m going use spaghetti cuz I don’t like big noodles sometime I use egg noodles but I’m going use spaghetti on this one

I kind of like that a little better but anyway I broke mine in in kind of bite size and you going to put it in the stock with the um let me show you I’mma stop look I had to get a spoon down see step look how that look that

Looks so good and it taste I I taste it oh it taste I’m going to taste it again here’s my spoon for it I’m going taste it again let me see oh it’s so so good it’s so good no salt all you might need is a li oh it’s

So good but I’m going to take my noodles like I say you can boil them separate if you want to or you can put them in the pot but don’t put too many but you got backup broth if you want to put you can never hardly put two minut

Just put a few in here chicken noodle soup S I got to make have room for my uh my uh chicken too got to see how much that is I don’t want to put too much in here cuz I don’t want to lose it flavor like you said you got to see your

Noodles y’all okay put a little bit more in here let them cook this that taste so good when I taste it y’all just follow my don’t over it’s so good and you know the chicken I use I told you I use thighs right I use thighs okay I cooked them with the skin

On in the bone because that gave your chicken have to taste good too you can take I’m not out in all of you can take and do like this or you can take your hand which I’m going to take my hands and just put this chicken in here put it

In here this pot and see I took the skin off I threw the skin away it’s not that hot I rather do it like this save time it’s so tend you see it’s t and it tastes good it was seasoned good I didn’t eat no seasoning that’s the first

Time I ever hit something on the on the tea that was on target all this chicken so good this going to be good this going to call chunky chicken noodle from madd’s Kitchen put a little bit more noodles now see I think I if it get kind of um

Put a little bit more noodles how good that looking only thing you can put in here if you like yours kind of now this for sick people they supposed to for Chicken Little set bag it’s for me cuz I got some cornbread go with mine hone I’m

Going show it to you when I get this to that cornbread I make some little muffins I’m country I and I don’t like for my soup to be too runny but I don’t want to eat it like mashed potatoes neither so I’mma put I see it some people have I like for

M have color put some more this chicken in here let’s put this chicken in here good see you don’t have to just leave the bone on yours I’mma finish this up with off the camera and I just use like I said to e the skin on and salt and

Cook it with the skin on the bone it seasoned so good okay I’m going get back with you I got about probably 15 more minutes till these noodles get done but now I’mma put me some parsley in here put some parsley in here let that cook

Parsley in here this is the last minute maybe about you don’t cook that very long I’m gonna put a little lemon juice in here that lemon juice oh this so good yeah I ate some off camera okay I’mma put some pepper in here cuz I need I like they going to
