That’s right we are taking deved eggs to another level loaded deved eggs these are like ingredients that you love on top of a baked potato we’re going to put right into our eggs so first thing we got to do is start with the eggs we’re going to cook these perfectly so we get

Those egg whites to be a perfect little vessel for the stuffing mix all right we’re going to start in a large skillet and we’re gonna put our eggs in be generous with those eggs you guys because they go quick so I have seven in here these will make 14

Eggs I don’t know if that’s going to be enough 8 9 and 10 we’ll do 20 now what we’re going to do is fill this with water to about 1 inch above the eggs now you always want to make sure that you start off with cold water now I’m going

To be adding in some baking soda into my eggs and water and that will help them peel at the end so I’m going to just shake in about 2 tpoon of baking soda now there’s many ways out there that show you what you can do to get your

Eggs to peel easily now you can also put vinegar in your water but I I don’t do that I just put the baking soda in there and works fine for me now what we’re going to do is put this on a high heat and then you want to bring this to

A boil once the water comes to a rolling boil we’re going to turn off the heat place the lid on we’re going to let this sit for 10 minutes I’m getting ready to pull my eggs out now I’m going to put them into a large bowl of cold water I’m going to

Add some some ice to keep it nice and cold that way it’ll stop the cooking process of our [Applause] eggs just going to use my spider tool and place my eggs into the cold water we’re going to let them sit in there for a few minutes so it cools

Off that way we can handle the eggs and I like to take the egg crack it on a work surface and then I like to go back into the ice cold water put it in there and then peel that water gets up underneath the eggshell and helps you peel the egg

You always want to keep it wet you can also do this in your sink run water peel your eggs under the water like that there we go there’s so many different ways to hard boil eggs you can use a regular pot like I did you can even bake them in the oven

Yeah yeah use a muffin tin and put your eggs in there and one egg in each cup and then put it in the oven I know right I’ve done it before it works fabulous you can also do it in an instant pot you can steam your eggs you can get

One of those Contraptions from a like Amazon and use that I find it easy just grab a pot put some water in it your eggs a little bit of baking soda make good peeling eggs and then a big bowl of ice cold water helps too now that we’ve got our eggs peeled

We’re going to take them we’re going to cut them lengthwise in half we’re going to pop the yolks out into a bowl you don’t need anything bigger than like a medium Bowl and then just lay those flat there you go just take your egg cut it in half

Lengthwise look how pretty that yolk is all right we’re going to pop it into our Bowl the yolk should just pop right out if not you can grab a spoon just careful you don’t break the whites all right I’m going to finish the rest of these

Up just hang on to it if it broke don’t worry about about it it can be a taste tester at the end we’re going to set these aside so we can work on the yolk mixture I’m going to take my egg yolks I’m going to break them up a little bit

Now I’m just using a potato masher or you can use a fork you can even put this all into a food processor and blend it all up in there if you want to do that but I’m not going to dirty another dish so this works perfectly or you can

Even use your ground beef Chopper looks like this here you can use that also whatever breaks up your yolks all right I’m going to keep that in the bowl because I’m going to add in 1/4 cup of mayonnaise got my measuring tool here that looks good right there going to add that

In a pushed a little too hard on that just scrape off the edge there we’re going to go in with one Teaspoon yellow mustard that looks good now you can do pickle juice or you can do relish which I’m going to be doing right here which is a sweet relish one teaspoon now these measurements are for the egg yolks that I have in here from the 10 eggs all right to that

We’re going to add in 2 tablespoon of sour cream cream let me get my spoon here and two some black pepper4 of a teaspoon and we’re going to go mild with the salt right now until we can give it a try after it’s all put in and mixed

Well so we’re going to go in with an eighth of a teaspoon we’re going to add in 2 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese we use a sharp or you can use the medium all right blend this all together now if you find that you need to add more mayonnaise for a looser

Filling you can add that once we get everything mixed up we’ll adjust the flavorings oh yeah that looks good in in there I’m going to add a little bit more mayonnaise loosen that up all right I’m going to go in with a spoon finish mixing that up let’s give that a

Try I’m telling you what you cannot mess up a deviled egg all right we’re going to bring over our egg whites and start stuffing them now I still have other ingredients that we’re going to put on top all right cuz these are loaded doubled eggs now there’s several ways that you can fill

Your egg whites with your mixture you can use like a Ziploc bag put all your mixture in cut off the end and then squeeze it on in there you can use a Piping Bag you can just use a regular spoon and go into each one of them or

You can use a small and I mean a very small cookie scoop which this is like one and 1/2 inch so you just kind of go into the mixture halfway and just plop it into your egg and then flatten it out just like that and then we’ll put that on top of

Our plate so I think I might put a little bit more on there there we go all right little more than halfway I’m finding is the amount bring your egg white over scoop it on in there place it on your plate right I’m going to fill the rest of these up bring you

Back let’s load our deved egg eggs up I got some bacon pieces or bacon crumbles as long as it’s cooked bacon you can crush it all up we’re going to sprinkle these right on top of the eggs woo people are going to love these for a football game potluck the holidays

You know Thanksgiving is coming up next week so y’all give them something to love let’s add some shredded cheese keep going we got some green onions chop it on I’m just going to use my herb Chopper here all right what do y’all think my loaded deviled

Eggs I’m going to grab one give it a try for you let’s go in you are going to be the star of the show with these deved eggs loaded like a baked potato M oh my gosh talk about taking this to another level m give me a thumbs up on this one make

  2. I like to add onions to the mix w dehydrated onion chips, not powder. It adds a crunch if eaten right away and a whole lot of flavor. Good recipe, thanks!

  3. My grandsons dont like deviled eggs but son loves them. Unfortunately grandsons suffer the aftereffects from Dad !!!Did I really put that in print !!??😮

  4. Catherine I've noticed a background noise.
It sounds like the shower is running.
    Deviled eggs look delicious.
    Thank you.

  5. i do just what u do except… while they are warm… i crack them then put them in cold water and let them sit… then peel it slides right off no egg pieces getting tore off. great recipe !!!!

  6. Tis is how I don't and the peel comes of every time. boil water first. Then put in your room temperature eggs. Boil 6 minutes. Then turn off and let sit for another 8 minutes. Then pour our hot water and add water with ice cubes to make water vold. Wait another few minutes. And your eggs will peel beautifully after banging on the side of your sink! It works for me every time

  7. When boiling eggs I always put them in a pot of hot water and change it a couple of times with more hot water and then put them on to boil . Never a cracked egg and easy to peel

  8. Sorry to cratic but what to do with the white of the scallions dice and put on top of egg or save for next meal ?

  9. Hi Catherine, I love your videos – always an inspiration! I make mine like yours, but use cream cheese instead of sour cream. Either way, love those deviled eggs.

Quick tip – After my eggs have cooked, I drain the water, put the lid back on the pan, and shake the eggs around a bit to crack the shells – then into cold water. They peel easily. 11:56 pm

  10. The best part of this recipe is your huge smile just before you tasted it! 😊 I love anything egg related, and these look fabulous!! Never thought to add cheese to a deviled egg!

  11. I swear by my egg cooker I bought on Amazon !!!!! Perfect eggs 🥚 every time !!!!! Makes 7 at a time. I will never go back to boiling them on the stove !!!!

  12. Catherine my husband and I watch your shows nightly. We are curious as to where you received your cooking training?? Loved the show with your mom and was thinking maybe from your mom. She was really into the recipe. We enjoyed the show very much. Thank you kindly 😊

  13. The best hardboiled eggs I ever made was in the pressure cooker! and the shell practically falls from the egg! I will try your recipe for Christmas! looks yummy!

  14. Did you forget to use the $1 off coupon for your mayonnaise? I had trouble concentrating after seeing the coupon on the container. LOL 😉

PS. Try exchanging honey mustard for the regular mustard. So good!

  15. I start my water to heat once I can’t keep my finger in the water for a few seconds, I add my almost room temp eggs. I boil them on moderate heat 6-8. For 16 minutes, no vinegar, no baking soda. After 16 minutes, drain the water and fill with cool water half way up. Fill with ice. Let sit for 10 min and peel your eggs. If you have to peel them later. Put them in the fridge and then warm them under hot water to peel them easier. That is what I do. My 2 cents worth. Great video! I do a lot of Ramen Eggs ( marinated in soy sauce, oyster sauce and optional Sriracha sauce to taste. I flip them on both sides for 24 hrs at a time. It depends on how much you want the soy to penetrate the whites.
