This Tres Leches Recipe Is For A Baking Pan That Is 15 1/2” x 10 1/2”
4.8 Quarts- 4.5 Liters

Ingredients

All Purpose Flour: 225 Grams (Approx 1.8 Cups)
Baking Powder: 10 Grams- (2.5 Teaspoons)*
Salt: 4 Grams
Eggs: 6 Eggs
Granulated Sugar: 188 Grams- (3/4 Cup + Almost A Forth)
Granulated Sugar: 63 Grams- (1/4 Cup + A Forth)
Confectionery Sugar: 4 Tablespoons (Can Substitute 3 Tablespoons Of Sugar Which Is 38 Grams)
2% Milk: 76 Grams-(1/4 Cup + A Forth)
2% Milk: 183 Grams- (3/4 Cup)
Butter: Coating For Pan
Evaporator Milk: 12 Ounces
Condensed Milk: 14 Ounces
Half n Half Cream: 2 1/4 Cups
Heavy Whipping Cream: 2 1/4 Cups
Cinnamon: A Sprinkle
Vanilla Extract: 1 1/4 Teaspoon
Vanilla Extract: 1 Tablespoon
(Strawberries🍓, Blueberries🫐, Pineapples🍍, & Cherries🍒 Are Optional)

(Using 15.5” x 10.5 Glass Baking Pan In This Video.)

Instructions

Cake Mix
1.) Add 225 Grams Of Flour, 10 Grams Baking Powder And 4 Grams Of Salt To A Bowl & Mix Well.
2.) Preheat Oven To 350F Degrees.
3.) In Two Other Separate Bowls, Add The Remnants Of 6 Eggs, 6 Yolks In One Bowl & 6 Egg Whites In The Other.
4.) Add 188 Grams Of Granulated Sugar (3/4 Cups Of Sugar + Almost A Forth) To Egg Yolks & Mix With Blender Or Stand Mixer Until Thick.
5.) Add 76 Grams Of Milk (1/4 Milk + A Forth Of That) To That Mixture, Along With 1 1/4 Teaspoons Of Vanilla Extract & Mix In With A Whisk.
6.) Add The Egg Yolk Mixture To The Dry Ingredients, The Flour, Baking Powder, & Salt. Mix In Well, Folding The Mixture With A Spatula, Constantly Until Mixed In Good.
7.) In The Other Bowl Beat Egg Whites With Blender or Mixer, Gradually Adding 63 Grams Of Granulated Sugar (1/4 Cup Of Sugar + A Forth Of That) Until Whites Become Like Foam, Like A Whipped Cream Texture Or A Meringue Texture & The Peaks Don’t Bend Over, They Remain Stiff.
8.) Then Mix The The Egg White Mixture Into The Egg Yolk Mixture That Was Already Mixed With The Dry Ingredients. Fold Ingredients Into Each Other But Don’t Over Mix! Mixture Should Be Nice & Fluffy.
9.) Butter The Baking Dish That The Cake Will Be Baked In. (Baking Spray Can Be Used As A Substitute.)
10.) Pour Cake Mixture Into The Pan. Smooth Out Evenly.
11.) Bake In Preheated Oven On 350F For 30 Minutes Or Until Cake Is Done. (I LEFT IT IN FOR 25 MINUTES THE FIRST TIME,SO WHEN COOKING ALWAYS CHECK TO SEE IF DONE AT THE 25 MINUTE MARK) Stick A Fork Into It To Make Sure It’s Done. If The Fork Comes Out Clean Then The Cake Is Done. Let The Cake Cool Completely! (This Will Take Anywhere From 45 Minutes To 1 Hour & 20 Minutes.)
12.) Once Cake Has Cooled Completely Poke Holes In It Throughout The Whole Top Of It.

3 Milk Mixture

13.) For The 3 Milk Mixture, (this recipe is actually 4) Add One 12 Ounce Can Of Evaporated Milk, One 14.) Ounce Can Of Sweetened Condensed Milk, 2 1/4 Cups Of Half & Half Cream, & 183 Grams (3/4 Cup Of Whole Milk Or 2% Milk.) Stir Very Well & Mix In.
15.) Pure 3 Milk Mixture Over The Cooled Cake Until All Milk Is Poured Into The Cake. Cover & Refrigerate For At Least 4 Hours, Or Overnight.

Icing or Frosting

16.) Pour 2 1/4 Cups Of Heavy Whipping Cream Into A Bowl.
17.) Add 4 Tablespoon Of Confectioners Sugar To The Heavy Cream Mixture. (3 To 4 Tablespoons Of Granulated Sugar Can Be Used As A Substitute.)
18.) Add 1 Tablespoon Of Vanilla Extract To That Mixture.
19.) Blend Together Until Frosting Becomes Nice & Thick.
20.) Once Done, Pour The Contents Of The Frosting Onto The Cake & Smooth It Out Evenly.
21.) Sprinkle A Bit Of Cinnamon On Top Of The Frosting.
22.) Slice Up Some Strawberries 🍓 To Add As A Topping, Maybe Add Some Blueberries 🫐 Or Even Pineapples 🍍 Or Cherries 🍒 As A Topping. What Ever Fruit Is Desired. Cool In The Fridge For 1 To 2 Hours Or Overnight, Then Enjoy. Bon Appetite!!!

Here we are Rico Sol Tha eats and today we’re going to show you guys how to make this beautiful tres leche cake that’s three milks Mexican cake and so uh this was uh really fun to make it’s always fun making um we hope you guys enjoy the video um please follow the instructions

To the tea I’m giving you guys the full recipe and if you uh make this Tres Lee you follow the instructions this will be one of the best trees leetes that you’ve ever had this is supposed to be a spongy Mexican cake and when you get to the

Bottom of it it’s supposed to have a puddle of goodness and so uh this is the way it should look so without further Ado let’s get into this Video We’re going to need some allpurpose flour AP allpurpose flour here we are we have my digital scale what we’re going to do is we’re going to weigh out 225 g of allpurpose Flour I set that to the side now we’re going to weigh out 10 gram of baking Powder here’s a 10 G of baking powder all right so the baking powder and the flour is in next we going to add 4 G Sal there’s our 4 G of sea salt we’re just going to add that and with our flour and baking powder now what we’re going to do is we’re just going to mix it all in We’re going to need six eggs all we’re doing here is separating the egg whites from the egg yolks and we’ll put them in separate Bowls all right we’re going to add the final yolk to the ball there okay here’s our six egg whites and our six yolks and next we’re going to add 188 g of sugar it’s 188 g of sugar and there we have our 188 G of sugar and what we’re going to do

Is we’re going to add that sugar to the egg yolks we’re going to add this sugar to 188 G to our six egg yolks and then we’re going to blend it up until it gets somewhat thick right now we’re going to mix this up until it gets Thick just want to make sure that we got the sides sugar from the sides and everything All right that looks like the consistency that I’m looking for we’re just going to push that to the side for now and now we’re going to add 76 G of 2% milk that’s going to be 76 G of 2% Milk going to zero our scale out here’s our milk we’re going to add 76 G wor here’s our 76 G it’s just a little bit more than uh just about 1/4 of a cup and we’re going to add that here to the mixture we’re also going to add 1 and a/4

Teaspoons of the vanilla extract all right now we’re going to blend that In so what we’re going to do is we’re going to add this mixture into the flour mixture we’re just going to fold it in add it all In I’m just going to fold it In Keep Folding we going to fold keep folding until it’s Incorporated pretty well we’re getting there we’re making progress still some flow at the bottom of the pan There I think that’s pretty good looks like we got a lot of flour at the bottom okay that’s pretty good let’s zero our scale out we’re going to need 63 g of sugar perfect 63 g of sugar and what we’re going to do is we’re going to blend we’re going to mix

This sugar into our egg whites we’re going to beat this we’re going to blend this in gradually into our egg whites and we’re going to mix it until the Peaks don’t bend over okay until the Peaks become firm so let’s start Mixing Okay I think this is pretty pretty firm it looks that way so what we’re going to do is we’re going to add the marinik mixture to to the other mixture that we mixed up earlier with the egg Yolks we’re just going to try to fold it all In all right so what we’re going to do is we’re just going to try to fold it in just going to try to fold it all In what we don’t want to do is we don’t want to over mix it here we just want to mix until it’s all Incorporated it looks like we’re just about there kind to make sure we get the the bottom pretty good make sure we get the bottom Incorporated all right that’s going to be just about good okay that’s going to be just about good now what we’re going to do next is butter our baking dish this is a big dish going to need some butter and that’s to coat this large pan this is an extra large Pan buttered pretty well as you can see all over sides Bottom now what we’re going to do is we’re going to pour our mixture into this bowl all right so we’re just going to pour this mixture right Into Casher dish Here Okay now we’re going to smooth it out we’re just going to attempt to smooth it out Evenly okay it looks like it’s looks like it’s pretty even for the most Part there we are how’s that look should be about even all over just about okay we’re going to put this in oven on 350 and we’re going to uh bake it for 25 to 30 minutes that’s 25 to 30 minutes on 350 Fah okay it’s been 26 minutes and we’re going to stick this skewer in and we’re going to see if this is done if it comes out clean it’s done if there’s a little bit sticking then we’ll put it back in comes out pretty Clean so it’s been about 25 26 minutes and it’s done so we’re going to let this cool for about an hour I would say anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes it all depends on um how cool your environment is if you have your air conditioned blasting

It might uh cool off a little faster um but we’re going to let it cool for at least a good hour I would say um I like to let it really cool all the way through so for me usually I let it cool for about an hour and 20 minutes to make

Sure that it’s completely cool all right so that’s what we’re going to do we’re going to let it cool for um anywhere from or you can let it cool anywhere from 45 minutes uh to an hour and 20 minutes okay before we uh let it cool

We’re going to poke it we’re going to poke it with little holes we’re going to try to vent it so a little hot air can come out we’re just going to poke little holes in it and another reason why we’re doing this is because when we add the

Milk it’ll be easier for the milk to seep in through the uh Cake we’re going to do this until we do the whole Cake looks like we got it pretty good all right we’ll come back in about an hour all right see you then okay been just a little bit over an hour and this has cooled considerably so now we’re going to push this to the side and we’re going to start to

Get our milk together for the tlete we’re going to use a 12 oz can of evaporated milk 12 oz can so here’s our Bowl so here we are we’re adding our evaporated milk 12 Oz we’re going to use a 14 o can of sweetened condensed milk and here’s our 14 oz of sweet condensed milk this is very thick so you going have to scrape the rest of it out with the spoon it’s very very very Thick don’t leave any in there get it All I think we got most of it out we’re going to use 2 and 1/4 cup of half and half that it’s two and 1/4 cup of half and Half now we’re going to add another four cup it’s a fourth cup all right we’re going to push this to the side now we’re going to get our scale and we’re also going to use 183 G or about 3/4 cup of 2% milk and now we’re going to

Pour 183 G of 2% milk you can use whole milk if you Like 183 G 2% milk again you can use whole milk if you like we’re just going to pour that in all right now we’re done adding the milks now we’re going to mix it all up now we’re just going to incorporate as I’m stirring I can feel that condensed milk which is very

Very thick at the bottom of this bowl we’re going to mix it until it gets mixed in pretty well starting to starting to thin out Already and we’re just mixing to Incorporated Feels like it’s uh mixed in pretty well now I don’t feel the thickness of the condensed milk Anymore now we’re going to mix this little mix In I’m going to use this measuring cup to pour what I’m going to do is I’m just going to pour it all In all throughout the cake until it absorbs it All it helped that we put the holes in the cake makes it easier for the milk to be Absorbed That’s uh just about it so as you see it’s 5:50 in the morning it’s 5:50 in the morning or 551 so what I’m going to do is I’m going to put some luminum foil on top of this and I’m going to let it sit in the refrigerator I’m going to put some

Aluminum foil to cover this in the refrigerator and I’ll let it sit in the fridge for about 12 hours or so um and I’m doing this because it’s 5:00 in the morning I’m not going to be eating Tre that J anytime this morning so we’ll uh what I’ll do is somewhere

Finished pouring the milk into the TreeSet J cake and here we are just about a day later that was about 5 something a.m. the day before and now it’s about 3:37 in the a.m. on a different day as you see here in my tablet it is now Wednesday September 6th

And it’s about uh 3:37 a.m. we’re going to need 2 and 1/4 cups of this heavy whipping cream we have our measuring cup so what we’re going to do is slide that out of the way and we’re going to pour two and 1/4 cups of heavy whipping cream into this measuring Cup okay as you can see that’s two Cups we’re going to pour it in our Bowl here we’re going to add another 1/4 cup I’m going to add another 1/4 cup okay we going to add another 1/4 cup so we’re done with the heavy cream I’m just going to we’re just going to pour the remainder of the heavy cream

That we just poured the 1/4 cup okay that’s that we’re going to need some confectionary sugar we’re going to add four tablespoons the Mixture this is going to be our fourth and last tablespoon we’re finished with that we’re also going to need some vanilla extract we’re going to use the same tablespoon and we’re going to pour in 1 tbspoon of the vanilla extract So we’re done with the Dem extract now we’re going to mix it all together okay here’s our mixer we’re going to blend this until it becomes nice and Thick Okay I think we have it at the consistency that we want it yep it’s nice and thick so this is fine we’re going to use it as it Is here’s our trees Lee there’s our tres leche after about 23 hours or so we’re going to try to do our best to spread it out Evenly Okay how’s that look folks keep in mind folks this is a very large casserole uh Bowl um it’s about 15 and 1/2 in by 10 and 1/2 or almost 11 in wide so it’s a big big uh tresche here it’s huge and so now we’re going to add strawberries and blueberries to the
