Fried buffalo tempeh, zucchini fries dredged in egg and nutritional yeast and fried, leftover egg always gets scrambled so there’s no waste. Macros include 2tbsp ranch.

Recipe: 1 pack of trader joes tempeh, cut in half (two thinner slabs) then into strips, one zucchini cut into fry shapes. Simply fried the tempeh on both sides then doused in franks red hot, and breaded the zucchini with an egg dredge and nutritional yeast, then fried in a wok. Extra egg after frying was scrambled and eaten to avoid waste. Macros include 2tbsp ranch and 1tbsp Frank’s red hot.

Wow. I’ve never thought of using nutritional yeast as breading? How is it?

Also now I know TJ’s has tempeh (what’s it next to? is it frozen or where would it be?)

Can someone explain the flavor of tempeh?
